Staff being biased.

Hello.

From my pov I’ve seen that some staff members are being bias towards friends/clan members.

I think that staff should not handle cases where they know who’s involved (when they know each other and are friends). I believe that appeals or reports should be handled like soccer, where the judges have no bias thoughts or connections towards any of the sides.
Same thing with staff that dislike some players, those staff who have beef with those players should not handle these reports/appels.

I also would like to add that staff members of invadedlands should distance themself from direct “contact” with players as they have a lot of power but more importantly more responsibility.

This is common sense for us and when it's a situation like this we usually ask for a second opinion from another staff member.

Everyone gets the same treatment and no exceptions are made. I have no idea what made you think we are biased but fair enough everyone has an opinion.

You're just telling us to distance from the community and have no interactions at all, which is wrong. Even if we chat/talk with specific member of the community, that doesn't mean we are going to act different for them. We might obviously ask for a second opinion before handling a situation involving these aspects.

I'm sure we never took a bad decision intentionally. If you actually found something, feel free to contact one of us and it's going to get solved and looked into. We sincerely apologize if we ever took a bad decision that affected you/other members of the community, but situations like that are very very unlikely to happen (unintentional) due to the rules being the same and us enforcing them in the same way.

I will not be locking this to hear more feedback from everyone in case there is something to mention.

I don't think they're biased. Just sometimes there have been situations where some decisions felt a bit incoherent, but it's stuff that happened in the past and I don't wish to dig these situations back up, considering some also have to do with demoted/resigned staff members and I did not keep track of these events either.

This should already be a thing I believe. If they are a very close friend it should be left to someone else to deal with. Like Mihaitai said its just common sense and if the staff member lacks that then there's bigger problems

Sometimes situations require direct contact and where possible it would be avoided.

If u have something against a staff member just report them using the regular player report, and if they deny it themself then they're practically asking for trouble

In my opinion no staff are being biased. All the staff are doing there job and punishing the right punishments. But one thing i dont like is that you have to wait 2 weeks to get unlinked after being linked to an bled acc but thats not the staff fault its the server. But in conclusion staff are doing great and they aren't biased at all.

We have been always working on improving the waiting time on appeals and I think recently this can be noticed a lot. There are obviously some situations that might require more time & another higher-up staff member to handle.
