Tp trapping was bannable at one point and then it suddenly wasn't anymore. Now I get the whole it's easy to avoid yada yada. But I find it really dumb that it is not bannable anymore as it is so easy to report and easy to punish. Unlike with ingame scams there are only a handful of tp trappers and the act itself is easier to record (less conflicting evidence).
Not keeping this act bannable has really been a bad thing for the community. For many occasions chat gets spammed and spammed with "x is a tp trapper don't tp to him" and then a lot of drama in chat cause of it. New players keep on getting tp trapped and then crying about it in chat and asking us to report them. The ones in the know tell them it's not bannable and respond with the whole easy to avoid bs. I feel like the community has become more paranoid because of it. I myself never accept any tp or tp to any people that I don't trust anymore and if I do I empty my inv. But that's such a bother to do over and over again. People might ask me to mine a spawner for them, look at their grinder, look at their house, join an event, etc... and there is no trust at all. This season has been riddled with tp trappers that anyone active on survival knows is a tp trapper. Do we fall for the trap? No, is it annoying? hell yes because new players still tp to them and then get upset and then drama drama. We can't keep warning all noobies whenever we see these known tp trappers online. That's just too much of a bother.
All in all I just find it tiresome to keep seeing the same stuff in chat about tp trappers over and over again, clearing my inventory anytime i tp to someone I don't know, having to answer people causing drama that it isn't bannable.
There is no true valid reason imo to why it shouldn't be bannable. It is definitely toxic behaviour that shouldn't be encouraged. No one in the community likes tp trappers. The whole it's easy to avoid thing is quite lazy and invalid to me. The act of recording and uploading the act takes more effort than accepting the evidence. The rule can state that you need video evidence to report that behavior if you don't want people to use screenshots or whatever.
