Over the past few months, I've been sitting here, watching all of the complaints about this server. A few (but none compared to everything) of the things I can think of right now :
  • Community needs not met
  • Poor staff management
  • Lack of explanation/help
  • No more Skeppy :( (kinda a joke but do take it half-seriously)

This is, as I said a fraction of what has been listed.

Staff, please please could you make an effort to clear up the lack of engagement. Tell us what's gonna be happening for the future of this server.

This is not only for us, but for you aswell. If you want that sweet revenue and whatnot, Skeppy, I know where to start.

Fix the server.
 
You cannot see what's going on behind the scenes, fixing bugs and managing a server isn't as easy as you might think. Also, fixing a server is not as easy as pressing a fix button. I still think some stuff could've been handled better tho

I know it's not just "pushing a button". It is a process that takes months. They need to get their act together and fix all the shit that is making everyone quit.
 
they are doing a bunch of stuff it seems, im sure theres a lot going on behind the scenes but they’ve hired a new manager and they are hiring developers which are really big. i assume big things are coming and the server will improve.
 
If you've been sitting here for "months" you'd have seen that we reply to these threads quite often with what we can, see a thread like this every other day. Changes are coming, takes some time because of other issues that arise. They are aware of everything, and we've been helping best as we can.
 
Hey guys! I just want to add on to what Hyper said here since there were a few things on my mind.

Community needs not met
All three game modes were recently reset with loads of new features (Survival even got lots of players suggested features), and new ones are on the way. Suggestions take time to develop and implement. I know its frustrating to think that the community isn't being heard but trust me, things said are being heard by myself, other staff members, and the management. Suggestions are being heard, and feasible ones are being worked on.

Poor staff management
If you are talking about appeals (I assume you are since that seems to be the main concern by the majority of people on the forums), there is already action being taken to resolve them. Lots are getting done currently, but there is a large backup and you have to be patient with us. We are getting them sorted. We've also not only opened a job listing for a new developer, and have brought on a new manager to help us deal with the backlog of issues we have. In my opinion, I would say that is very much an improvement and steps in the right direction for everyone on the server.

Lack of explanation/help
If you're going to make a post like this, you need to clarify what you want us to answer. It would really help us a lot. We're trying our best to work with you on a lot of these issues. If more details are included in these posts, it will definitely help us make better improvements people want to see, faster.

Fix the server.
If you want things done, questions answered, bugs fixed, improvements made, etc, personally there is a better way to go about this (for example, "Please fix issue A because it is affecting gameplay in this manner ___"). It's too vague for us to do anything meaningful with when you say "fix the server", and I can promise you everyone here wants to constantly improve things, staff and management included. Just work with us here and try and include some more detail with these posts that we can work with.

In the future if you are anyone else has any issues with the server, make a detailed thread that presents the issue in all its detail. We can most definitely work from there. No one on the staff team is trying to work against the community, but it is hard to work with the community when there is a great misunderstanding of what we find useful and can act on, and what we can't. I agree communication could be improved between the staff and players, and everyone on the staff team wants to see that happen.

Honestly, the bottom line is just that we all care and want to help, and we're taking steps to go about that in a better way for you guys.
