This has been an idea floating through my head long before the reset was announced. Obviously it’s probably a little to late to do anything this season, but for future seasons, it would be really cool to have the whole skyblock world available for download so we can see and remember our own islands as well as our friends’. Im not sure how difficult it might be or if it’s even possible, but I’d be curious if anyone else would want to download the world once the season comes to an end.
 
I doubt they'd add this, I guess the most you can do is screenshot it. But good idea though.
 
I'm not sure if it's possible for Skyblock, but for Survival it'd be really cool. Only problem is, they'd probably have to limit border size (like on MunchyMC, where the border is at 12.5k) and prune chunks to be able to upload the world, else it would be very very heavy.
 
i mean, i dont do much on skyblock, but still, why cant we keep our islands? will chest contents be saved?

So someone made this thread go up again. And now that I see this; yes this would be possible of course. Although i think it could cause A LOT of problems. Examples: inappropriate signs written on islands, lag machines being found, illegal farms being found, etc. This would cause massive drama and may get a part of the community to quit. Just saying. But if he wanted to neon could just pull the (what is probably about 10gigs) askyblock world file on a file uploader. And put it available for download!

This could be possible perhaps if it were only our islands that we can download
 
Mayve you could use world downloader mod but i dont know that it works on servers and also if it is allowed on Invaded so if you want to risk it dont blame me.

World Downloader mod works on servers, not sure if it's possible to detect it since it basically just "saves" all the block and entity positions in a file, so you might get away with it. That's actually a pretty nice idea, but it'd be best to ask a mod first if you don't want to risk.
