I really like what invadedlands did with the audition of clans. I felt like the max size was really good, but I feel like it took a lot more money, then it should have been for the upgrades. I think that invadedlands should lower the price of the clan upgrades.
I also think that the Clan interface needs a little more work as well. If people are going to ally with other clans, we should be able to see our allies. This could be in the form of a pink ALLY tag next to there name. This could help players know who is their ally, and who is their enemy. This could also be applied to having enemy’s for clans as well. You could have a ENEMY tag next to their name, to signify that they are your enemy and you can attack them.
I think that they ally talking system is good the way it is. You can either talk to your allies, or talk with your clan mates.
