As someone who has played on several different servers in the past, whether it be Survival or Skyblock, I have found the following perks and tools useful! I think adding these perks and tools to the Skyblock realm would make the overall experience much better!
Perks:
Fastplace (ability to place 1-9 blocks with a single click!)
Break (ability to instantly break blocks)
Tools:
3x3 Trench Tools (Pickaxe, Shovel)
3x3 Harvester Hoe
Builder Wands
Sell Wands
