just a check in on survival is it dead any plans after reset? is it fun or boring.
i miss playing mc survival with all of you guys
 
surv is so dead there is absolutely nothing to do. the only reason I still join is to vibe. we need reset like rn
 
reset may bring a spike in players, but unless they add custom things, i.e., enchants, dungeons, bosses, or actual reasons to grind out a ton of money, it will get stale in about 2 weeks. it's been the same thing for over a year now. 1) Reset launches. 2) Players either go to the nether for blaze spawners or attempt to get the dragon egg. 3) A handful of players will no-life for days and already be making hundreds of millions in the first week (by week 2 of S3 reset, i was baltop with around 400m, don't recommend it lol) 4) These players have 1 of 2 decisions; play creative just to simply flex that they have tons of extra free time, or begin hosting giveaways and events that will inevitably inflate the economy as more players buy spawners over time. once everyone has had their fill of smacking blazes/cows for dozens of hours, just to play a limited version of creative, they'll get bored and leave. many players even contributed their time, including myself, in helping with the player council as a way to funnel ideas to staff members, although nothing has changed at all, except for some biome additions, which only reinforces the creative aspect.

TLDR: i wouldnt count on a reset saving the server. unless large changes are implemented, it will inevitably die.
