Hey there players,

In preparations for our survival reset, we decided it would be a good idea to let the Survival community vote on the terrain generation for the reset. The choices we're giving are between vanilla or custom terrain. The vanilla terrain is what you'd normally see in a regular Minecraft world such as in singleplayer. Whereas the custom terrain is what we've been using for the last two maps.

We'd like you guys to vote on the poll about this and reply to this thread letting us know your opinion as to why you voted on it. It'd also be good if you could share this post around with other Survival players to get this out there. The poll will be closing in 3 days.
 
make it survival nd ill actually play claims r dumb, make it so u have to try to hide ur base and u can break other peoples stuff
 
I'd say Custom because after a while, regular generation is just what it is: Biome here, one there, and so on. But a more random generation (custom) sounds much cooler!

hey neon i think you should add snow biomes in custom
 
Vanilla server would definitely become boring in long term unless the server becomes 1.14 as there's a lot more that can be done with 1.14 settings.

Going with 1.8, it has to be a custom one for it to be interesting for majority of players. Competing against each other with how many spawners we have, how high our in game money income is, is a lot more fun and something that makes players come back to and work with.

What I would suggest adding to survival is a Sell Wand.

That would make our life sooo much easier if we setup a huge Iron Golem autofarm and are going to sell irons off each chest.

Sell wand could be something that could be obtained thru rare crate and in survival store (on the website).

Any chance of adding a snow/ice biome into the custom world engine? The current ones are nice, but adding a snow variant would make it near perfect.
