Survival is very boring at it is. the progression is non existent because all you have to do is go to some random warp and you get 10 million in only 3 minutes. at this point there isnt even a reason to ban xrayers because its so non profitable for them to mine diamonds.

honestly i suggest next survival restart we remove the current economy and replace it with something that is ACTUALLY balanced and has progression.

currently you can get Almost ANYTHING you want on the server as long as you afk for long enaugh inside an iron farm and even then it wouldnt be alot of afking.

IRL payouts for leaderboards aren't permitted under minecraft's eula sadly

You could try doing something like me, I just start building stuff for fun. Y'know, the usual stuff people do on survival servers. Doesn't always need to be a competition or some struggle for money, just needs to be fun.

It's fun to build an economy with the players, show others your builds and the survival aspect is still 100% there. It's your choice how you want to play it. I've done normal survival and also just making a bunch of money to fund my builds.
 
There are many different objectives when it comes to Survival players. Obviously, there are those that prioritize leaderboards, along with those that prioritize working on projects. Personally, I've found that my interest in Survival skyrockets while I'm working on something like a large-scale Redstone project, or working on player-warps that fellow players can visit.

While I'm not denying the fact that players are able to obtain large amounts of currency in a relatively short amount of time, you're still able to have so much fun by just making sure you're doing something that you enjoy, rather than following what some others might be doing. 🎉

ye i am not saying its not true, i am just saying it would bring wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more fun if they made it a lil more balanced to do all of this
 
honestly its just kinda silly how skeppy just released a video called "xraying with a 255 efficancy pickaxe" and in the ENTIRE VIDEO
even using all of the fortune, mining all of that STILL wasnt profitable because of how broken economy is. he could get all of those diamonds in literal minutes by going to a warp :/

Building something in survival gives u a larger feeling of accomplishment as buying/collecting the blocks is a challenge, and it's more fun to show off. If all you wanna do is build something cool then you could just use worldedit. Some people also find the grind of building in survival relaxing... Also if you're playing singleplayer you can't build with someone which makes it more fun!
