Personally I would have not done that, as the community was protesting. There is a reason why a lot of people accepted loot... we had hope.

If you're having trouble getting a staff member's attention while on the server, you can message me on discord about it — please make sure to include any relevant coordinates or other important information.

Yesterday, a Survival reset was announced for Thursday, November 29th.
The purpose of this post is to announce that the plans for this reset have since been cancelled.

There are several key factors at play when seasons on any server are decided to conclude prematurely, e.g.
  • New players having a difficult time entering a matured server, whether it's due to the economy or other reasons
  • The server has reached a stagnant state
  • Major mechanical issues deprive the server of its playability, at any point throughout its season
  • Highly requested updates that either require or are major enough for a data reset
Not every change makes it into a changelog or a reset announcement due to its complications. For example, suppose there is a problematic change that we might either temporarily disable or permanently revert after the reset begins to ensure the stability of the server. In that case, we'd rather not announce it in the first place until it's in a fully tested, ready state.

All that being said, every reset will have some form of backlash as people don't wish to lose their progress, however, the Survival reset was cancelled due to the clear overwhelming feedback that this is not something that a majority of the existing players want, so it will continue to be maintained as it is.

is there any way that the staff team (i don't think/know if you can) but do you think anyone could rollback the server to a couple days ago before we decided to grief our own bases since we thought reset was happening? i think that would be better then attempting to reimburse everyone

I agree with this too but could see how other might say there were grinding those few days too

everyone does that every reset announcement, we didn't expect staff to randomly change their mind, and its not punishing anyone, its just giving the server a fresh start, we would have a server update too, so new things would be there

"everyone" i have never ever done that since i started playing 5 years ago so like? should I lose my builds and items too just because of you? no lol. there are also entire communities who didn't blow their crap up

No, you wouldn't be getting an update + the only people advocating for a reset are the people who stupidly blew everything up, so yes, it literally would be a punishment to the people who didn't do all that

obviously, they shouldn't have announced a reset in the first place & i'm sorry you destroyed what you had created, but just because you think you're more important than everyone else doesn't mean they should go back on their 2nd announcement canceling it lol
(also they aren't going to change their mind again regardless)
