Thread 'We don't need a reset, InvadedLands team.'

Hello everyone, hello InvadedLands staff,


I would like to address the topic of a potential Survival reset, and explain why the community strongly believes it would be harmful for the server.



1. A reset after Black Friday/Cyber Monday would feel unfair — and will cause players to quit​


We just had the biggest sale of the year: Black Friday and Cyber Monday. During these events, many players purchased crates, ranks, and other items with real money because they believed they were investing into the current season.

They are just resetting because of the "Broken economy" But i think they could just make the shop prices for example higher. I mean in the last season the baltop was like 350b max or 400b idk and now it is almost 900b. Thats double. Still i dont want a reset.

the stupid part is, the only balances that are broken are the top 3 ppl, WeaWe, ilba, and vroom. everyone else was normal to last season. ppl just go offf of baltop and not the rest of the server

dude please do not do this literally like 80% of the server does not want the reset people barely started playing

I will say, with how fast this seems to be, will I be wrong to assume there is a major issue behind the scenes (game breaking bug(s) or technical difficulties) that would warrant a reset? If I'm right I feel like people here would rather hear that a "major issue is happening instead and a reset is needed" instead of hearing nothing tbh. Hopefully you guys have a solid reason for this, I am seeing quite a lot of people who want to quit. I hope you guys have good compensation planned for all of those who just spent money.

and quite rightly they will chargeback, like you said quite a lot needs to be offered to make up for the real money that people have worked for to be willing in the first place to spend money on a cash-grab server.

im going to assume people have already pieced this together, but they are most likely doing this for money. every reset, lots of people spend a lot of money on the server and therefore lots of people will do it again at the next server reset, which is what they are trying to get from this. instead, they are going to see a decreased playercount and a decreased amount of money in their banks, they can't forsee the future and only care about making potential money.
