Just wanna know some opinions and predictions, feel free to answer the 2 (very) simple questions below
1. What do you expect invaded to change about survival?

Claims

Add a few commands that the player base has been asking for, for quite a while

/claimkick – kicks players from your claim

/claimban – bans players from your claim

/claimpvp – enables pvp in your claim

Auction

Currently the max price is 1M which isn’t much at all

Make spawner stacks sellable up to 100M

It is annoying to always advertise in chat “SELLING STACK OF IGS 100M”

Warp PVP

Even though I said above that mcmmo doesn’t help much, this is the only place where it really does

Using mcmmo axe, sword, or unnarmed levels creates a HUGE advantage and that’s why /warp pvp is just dead

When being tp’d into warp pvp you have no clue that you are going to warp pvp. If a warning was made before you were tp’d it would make tp killing impossible which would get rid of some toxicity

Chest Shops

Chest shops would make survival shops another way of income and would honestly just make it a more enjoyable gamemode

Profit shops like used in SB would help out new players and it is nice because both people get money (seller and buyer)

Price in shop

So I have recently been playing on skyblock and learning about it. The price in shop is nice because OP items such as IGS spawners cost a TON compared to survival. To even get good stuff in skyblock you have to sell items which is the same as survival but the sell prices are WAY WAY WAY lower which is something that would be beneficial to Survival. If shop prices in survival were similar to skyblock grinding for money would be harder and people wouldn’t get as bored as fast as they do now.

Player Council

For starters, I wasn’t around when there was a player council. I do not know what happened in the council but whatever happened something can change. If some new player council that took advice from the active player base it would bring new ideas to the staff team that they may have not thought of before thence having community wanted updates which would make it more enjoyable to play.

End Dimension

Something has to be done about the end. This season it just got greifed and now it’s too late. Have there be a community end portal that can’t get destroyed so new players can go to the end. Have the End have something in it so it just doesn’t get greifed in 2 hours. I’m not sure what the fix is but something has to be done.

Other Suggestions

Have naturally spawning mobs come back. It simply makes it have that vanilla feel to it.

Introduce an “Items cleared” text appear.

Better voting crate prizes. I mean seriously just compare them to Kit and SB. No explanation needed.

Have Immortal rank come with more commands. For 15 USD all you get is 5 more sethomes and 1 more PV??? Really? For 15 USD???



Lastly, (this is to staff) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE just think of something to increase player goals. (GREAT COMMUNTIY REQUESTED IDEAS ABOVE :) )
 
Hello all,

This post is about why survival is dying and some improvements that should be implemented to make survival more enjoyable.

(Directed at staff to hopefully take these suggestions seriously and hopefully implement some)

In the past few months, a lot of active people have quit and mostly for the same reason. Survival only has a few player goals and they can be achieved very quickly. These goals include grinding for money, building, and mcmmo. Grinding money on survival can be achieved very quickly. All you need is a few blaze to get started and then you can upgrade to higher tier spawners to gain money quicker. If the shop prices weren’t so high like Skyblock it would take longer to grind for more spawners and people wouldn’t get tons of money right away so thence get bored quickly. Next is building. Building can only be so fun on a server that resets every six months. Not much has to be said about building, when you have /fly its basically creative mode. For starters mcmmo is another grinding area in survival. Grinding for mcmmo levels is really only a boasting thing because it doesn’t really affect you, so I guess I’m trying to say that mcmmo should help and improve the player more. These three things to grind on get very boring very fast.

Now here are some suggestions on how to improve survival to create an active playerbase that doesn’t quit within a few months of joining.

Claims

2. I would like it to be a lot harder to make money, the economy can be kind of broken at times. Also, it would be good if higher ranks got more commands and other stuff, there's barely any difference between ranks apart from the kit.

I feel like staff need to pay more attention to survival. Survival is underlooked and staff really don’t care about it. If they want a player base, they have to do constant updates that will get us stirring, something that will keep us to work, not bored. They have to listen to players, something they don’t know how to do and don’t care to do. The player council was an example of this. Hardly anything was changed and i felt like it was a puppet to keep us calm. They need to change if they want a recurring player base and income. If invaded still wants an active player base, they better change their system fast, well known players are vanishing, promising to come back in reset, which are probably gone for good. Invaded needs to change and I actually think it needs a new owner. It’s obvious skeppy doesn’t care about the community and uses the server only for his videos. However, now the server actually has a community of people that are not “SKEPPY 141414”. We need an owner that actually cares, someone who actually pushes for the bettering of the community.

Honestly, nothing LMFAO jk but they're probably going to change /shop, as in making the items more expensive so it's more of a vanilla survival experience (for example, instead of buying the blocks you want, you actually have to go out to get them).

2. What do you want invaded to change about survival?

- Claim kick/ban command.
- Add loot crates or something (like how they have it in SB, even though it's broken) in warp pvp so people actually have a purpose of going there.
- MCMMO rewards (maybe weekly whoever gets the most points that week?)
- Version change can be nice but personally as a minecraft boomer, I like 1.8
- Chest shops
- Add a "no intentionally lagging out the server/players" rule (because I'm sick & tired of people ruining events)

1- Claim ban can be abused to lag the server, it s already an issue in skyblock where u can lag the server if you spam island ban, besides the technical difficulties, it s a good idea
2- claim PvP can be abused to Tp kill people ( bad idea )

It's limited to a million for a reason, so even if people try to scam in the Auctions, they can't take much, and also to avoid over priced items, like cobblestone that costs a 1 million and sometimes you missclick and buy it, imagine 100mil, that would be way worse.
and also it ll be harder to sell items for a big prices and mistakes on big prices will be done a lot, people forgetting a 0 or adding one, because there is too much !

Agree, it was a thing in the last season, surely there were a lot of bugs with them, but still worth it !

Survival isn't skyblock, we don't get diamond blocks from cobblestone generators, they aren't the same so please don't compare them. bad idea

I agree with the idea of bringing back the ILPC ( invaded lands player council ), I was a part of it and loved it honestly! they should definitely bring it back !

The end is good the way it is, and the only use for it is the ender dragon egg, people block the portals so they can get the egg without people coming in, that's a strategy
if you want the end to be safe from griefers you have just to go first to it and claim it ^^

No, the game will be harder for those who are starting, and some spawners will lose their worth like zombie spawners, skeletons, zombie pigman, spiders, and else, as those can be spawned via normal farms with just dark rooms...

You make some great points but I have to respectfully disagree with your opinion on changing the economy on surv to make it comparable to skyblock. Making money on survival is just simply to easy. When you start out with a few spawners you can easily obtain more and more. If you look at skyblock currently they changed it so the spawner prices increased and the sellable items decreased in sell price. This made it wayyyyy harder to grind but added a new challenge.

Also, when there would be claim pvp enabled there would be a message saying that you are being teleported into a PvP zone. However I can see how it could be abused, I agree with you.

Also, on the topic of the claiming in the end is sadly not allowed. If you have seen the end this season, something should have been done about it.

There's definitely quite a lot of stuff that could be changed on survival. I agree with all the things @vaxxi suggested. I think it would all work well for the server.

I partially agree with the staff bit. I mean I wouldn't say the staff don't care about it but like its probably a bit underlooked yea. At the moment for active players, there's nothing much to do. As @Th3ftx said- well-known players are just leaving. There needs to be some sort of hook to keep people playing on there. Like some sort of custom features idrk specifically but something that players can enjoy. I often hear people saying that they are still playing on survival because the community is really nice. I agree with them, survival community is soo nice. honestly it would just be good to add more updates to the servers to keep the player base at a decent size. With the reset the incentive for well known players to come back is just to 'start fresh'. I don't know with you guys but when I think of survival I just think typically of mining stuff and building a house. On invaded there's a lot of grinding to get money, etc but it imo it would be good for quests or some sort of challenges you with different landmarks around the map. It would be cool but like I don't know how that would work. There has to be some changes cause otherwise people are just going to do the same thing as this season which is quitting later on cuz it gets boring. I'm really hoping that everyone's suggestions get looked into and possibly implemented. survival would be soooo much better. ?

On a server as big as InvadedLands, there simply would not be enough mobs spawning since the mob cap would already be reached by all the people loading mobs around the server, so the new mobs spawning are really rare.
