Teaming in last man standing

What is considered teaming in the event? I was hiding on one of the ice spikes since I am an average pvp'er and I was trying to save gapples for the end, and I was kicked for "teaming in lms". I just want to play the gamewithout getting kicked, so do I need to actively be fighting in order to stay in the event?

Don't team or truce with other players, if you're not fighting a player but they're very close to you and you acknowledge that we're going to assume you're truced with them and you'll probably get kicked.
