youre clearly talking from a biased point of view. why even bother writing such a long message if it's all biasedaight. it's been a while since i've written an essay on the forums. i don't even want to partake in fruitless minecraft drama anymore as i've moved on to doing other things (as all of you should too) but i won't let things that aren't true be said about my friends. this is my point of view on what's been going on
first of all i think this is an extremely dumb situation to continue dragging on and that everyone should just move on with their lives, whether that being continuing to play the server or not continuing to play the server. i don't want to start shit and i know some of y'all (the main ones i'm concerned for are my close friends, which i hope this won't change things between us even though i know it will, although it really shouldn't have gone this far) are gonna get pissed at me over this but i'm tired of sitting and watching untruths get spread about my friends when i honestly believe they don't deserve it.
not true, and i'm only saying what she has told me directly, and she said that she was uncomfortable continuing to make flirty jokes with you (as you guys did tend to flirt all the time) due to you talking to girls irl. she told me that you got very pissed off at her and started to argue with her over it, despite there being no real reason to as you were both clear about not wanting to e-date. there's nothing wrong with wanting to stop flirting and, as a close friend of hers, i can very confidently say it had nothing to do with luke. she didn't even want to stop being friends, but you were trying to fight with her (apparently) over it and couldn't solve the problem. both of you having poor communication is why your friendship failed, not because of luke.
i'm fairly sure it didn't, as far as i'm aware she only started speaking to you around when we both got staff, which wasn't a year ago. it lasted more like 5ish months tbh but i could be wrong
it was a running joke within our (me, the girl, and luke's) friend group to joke about our relationships and even get advice from each other regarding our irl and online endeavors. we were all v close and liked to joke abt shit and tell each other to not edate random internet kids as all 3 of us had a history of doing so. there was honestly nothing weird about it from either her or my point of view and i'm honestly disappointed you'd use her to attempt to ruin lukes reputation when, as far as i know, you were the one to fight with her when she calmly wanted to stop flirting with you. luke, again, had nothing to do with that decision
he did not do anything of the sort- again, as a very close friend of hers, i can confidently say she did this on her own without consulting anyone about it (not even me) until after. he didn't even know she blocked you until he read this thread. you and i both know she's impulsive and does things for sometimes no reason, and blocking you was one of these things. when she explained it to me she said that she just wanted to move on since you guys weren't reconciling. which again, to my knowledge, was because you were being rude for what i've been told was for no reason other than due to you overreacting to her setting boundaries. boundaries are healthy and important to have and should be respected, and you also violated my boundaries (which i'll get to later). that along with seeing how you spoke so spitefully of her and insulted her whenever you wanted to talk about the situation with me, made me find it very believable that she didn't lie to me
if you want to continue arguing that it was because of him, i'd like to see evidence proving your theory as i've honestly seen nothing at all that indicates your statement is true. it's unfair to the community (whom you're trying to prove to that luke is evil and manipulative) that you have nothing to back this claim up
this is extremely over-exaggerated and you know it is. i wish you wouldn't use your former friends for your own personal gain like this. there was no "reassuring" needed regarding you and her's friendship, and all of it was jokes. you're making him out to be some creepy guy who's infatuated with teenagers' e-relationships when he clearly isn't and has never been.

i'm not saying any of this because i hate you or dislike you, i genuinely enjoy being friends with you and having each other to confide in about our milestones and secrets and just being able to vibe together as you've been arguably one of my more closer friends for a long time. but i hope you'll understand (as you mentioned one of your core values being loyalty) that i can't sit back and see a situation regarding all my closest friends be falsified like this.
moving on from that bit,
this is not true at all. all they wanted was to help the server as they truly care for it and i see nothing wrong with that. they stood up against him with you & fought just as hard as you did, and when they received manager they took a larger role in running things from affixes and affixes took a large step back (as he should've done a long time ago) because of them while they worked to make better changes. when there was something they didn't agree with, they told him and if he wouldn't comply they knew they were going to quit. that doesn't seem very pet-like to me.
all of you also claimed to really love the community and the server, but and then got upset that they were trying to make an effort to keep it going? i never understood the logic and when i asked for a better explanation of your thought process, i was always told that if i didn't immediately understand it that i was never going to get it.
as i said before, i was consistently told by them that affixes knew that if he didn't comply with how they wanted to run things, they would quit. they were just trying to help the server and took a large amount of running it from his hands (again, because they didn't agree with how he ran things and wanted to do things better because they genuinely cared for the community and wanted to give you guys what you wanted, not what affixes wanted) before his demotion occurred. they wanted him gone and disagreed with him as much as anyone else did?
i think now is the prime time to remind everyone that kvids and zack willingly resigned, citing specifically that they didn't want to be here anymore and didn't want to give the server another chance. it isn't luke nor lumboc's fault that affixes was a shitty manager and they should stop being blamed for it
for context regarding their resignation, we had this extremely long staff meeting where we told affixes every little detail that he needed to improve upon in order to be a better manager. immediately after the meeting, kvids and zack assured affixes they still wanted to resign and didn't want to give affixes or the server any more chances and specifically stated that they wanted to focus on IRL stuff anyways, which is completely reasonable. but when other people, who are just as genuinely dedicated and caring as they were are promoted afterward, everyone is suddenly upset at them and blaming them? let's think about this in a proactive way. what did you want to happen? what would've been better? y'all keep saying "BRING BACK ZACK AND KVIDS!" but they have said themselves on multiple occasions that they think the server is dying, is a waste of time and that they don't want to come back, so that's not a realistic case to continue making when hating on luke and lumboc. i see no issue in those two wanting to try to keep the server running and i hope others can agree that there was clearly no malicious intent involved in this. as people who log on and play the server every day, i think you guys can decide for yourselves that you'd rather have two people who have been around for years at the head of the server (being led by hayech as well- so they aren't even running it alone) rather than the server not being alive at all. i just don't understand why this is such a big deal lmao. you say you care for the server and want the best for everyone, but you've made it extremely clear you'd prefer it dead than have *anyone* be a manager
considering that multiple former staff members had abused their perms, i don't see the fact that they wanted to question those who had given their alts gmc in the past (which they saw with logs) as being a disturbing decision. they were prioritizing the security of the server, and i get that it may have been insulting, but it was also insulting when you interrogated me for information regarding the situation with the former friend and other various things which i won't name here. i'm not saying this to make you look bad, but to help you understand their pov when they called you asking questions and then comparing it to when you did something very similar with me because i really do want you to have a better understanding

yes, lumboc may be more of a "yes man" when it comes to things but he does have experience owning and managing servers and working with files, etc. he may not make the best decisions on his own or have the most extravagant or successful ideas, but he still can help and does help behind the scenes whereas others might not have as much experience. i see no issues having someone on the team who's willing to help and knows (sort of) how to ?, especially if there are other managers and staff members to give him ideas/guide him. he hasn't done anything wrong (that I know of) or harmed the server in any way, so what's the issue here?
this is my most important question in this whole shitty reply that i'm writing, and i'm asking this to be proactive and to also understand: what do you want to come from this? what do you personally think will help the server most?
if you can't give a proper, decently fleshed out, helpful idea for this, then it's clear that you're solely trying to continue drama and not trying to find any sort of solution for the server
I don't mind criticism whatsoever, especially against people who have actually done something wrong, and if you had gone the extra mile and found solutions and made suggestions on how to move forward, i probably wouldn't have written a reply at all, but you went about this in the wrong way.
i also feel the need to clarify before someone says something about this, none of what i've written is criticizing you for resigning. that's completely up to you and is your choice. i'm only criticizing what you've written here to hurt my friends' reputations.

all i can really say for everyone (and this isn't just for you) is don't be a sheep, instead, you should formulate your own opinions and ideas before hopping on the bandwagon. a lot of people in this comm are consistently doing this and hopping back and forth based on one-sided stories and instead should be more patient before freaking out and deciding you hate random people when you don't actually know what happened. no hate to anyone but this is tiring and completely pointless, especially for those who are towards the end of their teenage years and have more important things that they should be worrying about (specifically non-minecraft drama related things)

i'm going to be brutally honest here and say that if you're acting petty like this and openly putting her down her solely because you've been envious of her position, i don't blame them at all for denying you. i would also like to add that some of the former staff members who aren't around anymore didn't want you to be staff either and were vocal about it to higher-ups, so it's not just management who was wanting to hold you back looool so don't be bitter at only them
(her getting staff and others not making it didn't have anything to do with capacity btw. nobody was denied so that she could become staff, she got it because she's experienced and has proven over the years that she's capable. it's not just bc she's female. i can smell the misogyny from here bro)

some closing thoughts that i want to add for everyone who's watching this pointless shitshow go down (some things being unrelated to this thread but since other than this i'm probably not gonna post many other things, i may as well just throw my final reflections in here)
- some/most of the people you (the community) are saying would do a better job and should come back and replace the current team blatantly abused before leaving. i'm not gonna get into it tbh but you say they care for the server and the community but a lot of them really don't lol
- constructive criticism is powerful. if you don't like something or someone, add a solution into what you're writing and it'll make your argument so so much stronger. again i wouldn't have written anything had this been the case the entire time
- again don't be a sheep, formulate your own opinions and go against the grain if you genuinely believe that it's the right thing to do
- stop wit da block game drama and move on, i promise you'll feel a million times better

someone makes accusations that make sense but doesn’t give proof. then someone who disagrees replies saying that everything they wrote is wrong and gives proof (sometimes). then the person the drama is about replies and either gives absolutely no information about what the thread is about but instead goes off on a tangent about one tiny thing that the thread mentioned. then everyone says they would be a better staff member than XX, then the thread is either dead and then someone necroposts months later and an unaffiliated staff member locks it, or it is bumped every day despite the subject of the thread not being relevant anymore. the end.

First of all, I'm not openly putting her down by being vocal and truthful about how I feel with her back as a staff member, I believe she hasn't helped the server at all even during her previous time as a Moderator, which is pretty obvious via her forum messages (Since Nov 2019 when she was mod and up until today she still is below 200 forum posts, kinda insane when a staff member should deal with ban appeals, player reports and helping the community no? Ever since she got Trainee, her message count only went up by 4 messages when there are probably lots of player reports to be handled.
Yeah this was last season when I got denied for immaturity and activity for things I said in MMC's staff chat, I apologised for it and even adjusted my app to contain that information, and re-posted the same thing in my most recent application. I got nothing to hide about that and I apologised for it. But hey guess what, this season, the same people that -1'd me and denied me last season, liked my application and my stance!
So saying that multiple staff members didn't want me back sounds like false info for me, if it was some it was probably you, luke and god knows who else, but some of them would've liked to work with me in this staff team, believe it or not.
How would I not be when I've poured my heart and soul when I was a Trainee for this server, I've cleared 1/3 of the stacked up 15 pages of player reports which were months dated there within a few days, well over 150+ reports I handled during my trial period, and over 700+ punishments handed out, and I didn't pass over a small mistake, and she's barely done the bare minimum and had to get an extended trial period of another 1 week or 2 when we had an entire month, only to barely reach the minimum quota of like 200~ punishments. I've done more in a month than della has done during her entire staff time. I was even considered one of the best Trainees the server has had in ages (until zacky and kvids came in of course and I highly respect the work they poured into this place being able to work up to Manager of all ranks) and someone like @McDonalds can vouch for this, when I got demoted some people were upset at the management because they saw how dedicated I was to help this server and didn't understand how I got demoted and how others that barely did anything passed.
In my position, you're saying that pouring 10h after 10h everyday being active in-game and on forums, handling reports and being transparent with the community, helping people with what they needed and everything, you would've accepted getting demoted over a small misconduct and would've been happy that someone who did none of this passed because they barely reached the quota to continue on as a Moderator? Sorry but the frustration I felt that day I still know how it feels to this day, and I'm only re-living it once again. Trust me that I didn't want to get to the point where I have to write a huge ass reply about this.

Kay then, if 185 messages in the span of 2 years and it only went up by like 3 or 4 ever since she got Trainee means she has shown to be capable or experienced then sure, so be it for ya, but in my opinion this ain't it, she's always in vanish and doesn't communicate with the community at all, staff should be all about transparency and being a public figure since you represent this server, but nah sitting in vanish afk-ing is more fun innit. my boys @Akatsuki and @Twisst are far better candidates and are easily the only ones I wish they will bring change to this server.
