Alright, if it's coming back, then I would like to know the work that hasn't been shared or released publicly, or you guys are planning to start soon?

First, I'm saying that they have failed their objective of helping the staff on releasing survival, which you also agree when you said "Making posts like this helps nobody".

Second, I would like to know how this post wastes server storage. If the server storage is suddenly so important that a little use of it like making a post like this does affect the server, why not to do anything about it? (Telling the users to not do useless posts, deleting the posts that have contributed nothing to the entire network (like this one) and it's been months ago since the last reply in them, etc.)

Third, does any member actually know what they are talking about when making any suggestion? or making any post about the server's current state?

If my post is 100% wrong, and my conclusion also has nothing to do with the actual reason, then what is it? I'm pretty sure you must have pretty much knowledge of the server at this point, after all you have a mod rank.

This post wasn't really made for the staff to read tbh, but i'm really happy one decided to actually read it and correct me into the stuff i'm wrong. I have nothing else to say except for "thank you"

I am not entirely sure if you're aware of this fact, but I am not a developer for this server and have never claimed to be. I can say with a high degree of certainty that I have not personally fixed any bugs, added anything new to gameplay or modificated (which isn't a word by the way) anything on it since the latest Skyblock reset, which was almost 6 months ago. I join Skyblock fairly infrequently as it's about as popular as the pimple on the right side of my face. If it were more popular, I would obviously join in my capacity as a moderator to moderate it.

Survival is not available to us, we know as much as you do. What we do know is it hasn't been killed off. We wouldn't tell you this unless that were the case.

Because you're not staff and you don't get to know these things until the management decide it's time to tell you. I'm being straight with you, that's just how it is. Sorry.

Forgive me, I realise what I said there was rather abstract which is my fault really, I shouldn't have said it in the first place. I was making a slightly sarcastic comment that implied your post added so little to this website that it represented nothing more than a waste of server space. The server's storage is just fine, don't worry.

There's a marked difference between making suggestions and repeating the same old tired nonsense that has been dispelled by just about every staff member going. What you're doing here is unhelpful, but suggestions made in earnest are usually helpful. That's the difference.

The Reason

Most of us know that Survival won't come back (and I feel bad for those that don't know/want to understand) but here's the real question: Why isn't Survival back?

To answer this question, we need to first, investigate about the server's current state.

At the moment of making this post, there are 58 Players Online (55 in KitPvP, 2 in The Hub and 1 in Skyblock (You know something's wrong when the lobby is more entertaining than a entire gamemode))

(also fun fact, day 2 of making this post and I now see 35 players online)

What can we view? Not only the fact that the server's almost dead comparing to 2 years ago, but the fact that the server's main attraction is KitPvP. Do the admins know about this situation? <- How can we answer this question?

If we check the latest updates on Invadedland's discord, we can then answer that question.

Those are some of the updates that were done after the Skyblock Reset. What can we see?

  • They only update and reset KitPvP
  • KitPvP resets are less than every 6 months
  • They are looking for lots of staff
  • I also didn't put them here, but constantly there are bug fixes and network fixes, proof that they only care about bugs after these become public to the community
  • They are in need of money; Seasonal Crates, New methods to pay, Sales, etc.
Conclusion: They know that KitPvP is the only thing that keeps this server (kinda) alive. What they do to fix this problem? Nothing.

Also, I'm not sure, but I could say they are desperate for money and paying the servers to keep it running.

Basically, the reason why there isn't a update to Survival is because
the only few people that play this server actively won't feed
the server's desire for money for long enough, also they are only
playing KitPvP so the admins only think about that gamemode.

TL;DR

The staff don't really care about Survival and Skyblock, because their fanbase is only in KitPvP so they update it constantly. And I don't blame them tho, I would do the same in their situation.

There's only one way to fix this situation: More Players. How this will work? More players will mean more profits, more profits will mean more development, more development will mean more and active players, more and active players will make even MORE development, and this greater development will, eventually, bring survival back.

How do we achieve this? You guys remember Skeppy right? He was the reason WHY this server once was active and had lots of players. However, he stopped making videos about this server, people stopped joining and playing the server, less players that made the staff less active, less active staff made less updates/resets,and less updates made the server to be like it is right now. We need to bring Skeppy back to this server and make videos about it, which I hardly believe will ever happen.

Oh and please stop making posts about it.

The anticheat is really bad too, the other day I got banned for absolutely nothing and it said I was cheating. I was playing on a regular version of Minecraft that has no mods or anything on it.

I never told you to do anything, all I said was that I wanted to know the current progress of Survival, but that is also answered because "You're not part of the staff and you don't get to know these things until the management decide it's time to tell you"
