We can agree they’re annoying, and they’re mostly on KitPVP. There’s not a great way to fix this, but I have a few suggestions that might help

1. Change the Skeppy NPC in the lobby. I think Kit attracts so many people desparate to be in a challenge more than any other server is because of what you have to click to get into Kit, the Skeppy NPC, and their brain just thinks that Skeppy NPC is where Skeppy must be. This is a ridiculously simple fix that might help a bit.

2. Mute everyone until level 2. It takes, what, 3 kills to get to level 2? Levels 1s can’t contribute anything to chat when they start other than “wHeRe iS sKepPy????!!,” so I just say mute them. Next to none of them actually join for Kit, and being muted might discourage them from spamming chat.

3. Chat message. I don’t know what to call it, but a message saying something like “Skeppy is not here all the time!” In chat every few minutes might help (Like the Invadedlands discord message)

Anything to reduce the amount of these people

The problems you've underlined cannot be solved unless Skeppy stops making videos on the server (but that'd diminish player count and server profit), and I'm sure Skeppy's challenges will continue until the end of Coronavirus. Also, first and third suggestions would do next to nothing, if not even be negative. The second one is a great idea, except that to get my second kill when I used to play I died 115 times (lol).

especially when everyone is stuck at home... I have looked at the info on a Minecraft server website and there seems to be >200 people on at all time, probably hoping skeppy gets on while they are there. Even at / past midnight in the US. Well, at least where i live...

umm, he's talking about those obsessed fanboys who join for 1000$ and spam and leave. He's not one of those players, that's what he means by skeppy fanboys.

I agree, nicely put. I'd also include the people that joined survival with xray just to get in a video, etc etc
