First make sure you fit all the requirements. If you do, make sure to use proper spelling and grammar, as well as proper punctuation and capitalization. Spend time and give well thought-out answers. Don't rush.

& These are just tips for the application itself. Like Ayypanda said, be positive and helpful and get to know other members of the staff team. Also being active in game and actively helping out in game and on forums may help you as well.

Alright I’m going to be as honest as I can and give you the best possible information

- Activity, higher ups want to see you in-game interacting with the community and what not.

- Reporting rule breakers, this is simple staff want you to follow on what you stated in your application and this is a great way of helping out which staff want.

- Know the rules off by heart, this is essential when you are staff on any server. You won’t be as successful as you think you are going to be if you are not doing this, and besides it's technically a requirement as they are expecting you know the rules.

- Don’t apply simply because you want to ban hackers, everyone says that be unique and ask yourself why do you want to apply, what thrives you into wanting this rank so much, Be unique with what you write don't follow the crowd and write the same thing I have seen over my time as manager.

- Also think if you are willing to perform your staff duties, I have seen many staff over my years of staffing simply applying because they want power and respect, if you are doing this I’m sorry but I don’t think your in the right business, being dedicated to your work.

- Know when to take a joke, very simple explanation don’t feel like I need explaining here

- Also learn to take criticism and learn when you receive it know the steps in which to take it, you are going to take a ton of criticism especially as a staff member so you should teach yourself not to take it negatively instead if you are being overwhelmed take a breather and come back when you feel like you are ready.

- And finally be yourself, I have seen many people go into the staff business like a robot without any sort of emotions, you got to express yourself and show people who you are as a person rather than someone using full English, now I’m not saying to not use it at all no because using grammar is important when being staff and it really is honestly. All I’m saying is just be yourself and don’t let others try and tell you any differently.

I tried to summarize it but I feel this is a simple basic guide to becoming a great staff member. Hope this helped anyone who is wanting to apply.

what would make me good staff
Don't write your application in one sitting. Write some, come back write more. Gives you time to think and allows for you to catch mistakes or add anything you may have missed. :D

One think that I would recommend is try and find someone who you know (like a friend) to read your application beforehand to double check for spelling errors, grammar issues and just to get an opinion from another point of view. This will make sure you are ensuring everything is clear and well layed-out for the person reading your application
