This post is intended for players ranked from Default to MVP, before you unlock really good gear. It will teach you how to be a little better at PVP. You won't be able to kill Kit God, Overlord, or OP gear kids with these tips but it should help you!
Tip 1: Stick to PW's
This tip is really important. Sticking to PW's stops you from getting bow'ed on the bridge or critted out by kids with OP gear. The terrain is flat and there are few - no corners, making it the perfect place to PVP. /warp fps also works.
Tip 2: Save up gear/money
By saving up gear, you can sell it to get more money. In turn, you can enchant bad gear with said money to make it really good gear. Obviously, good gear makes it easier to win in fights.
Tip 3: Save up God Apples
Save up your God Apples, then when you want to fight, take a few (at least 2 or 3) out and use them to delay dying.
Tip 4: Fishing Rod
Using a fishing rod on someone right before you want to attack them knocks them back creating a space for you to attack.
Tip 5: Bow Boost
Bow boosting is when you use a Punch 1 (at least) bow to shoot an arrow in front of you, then run in front of it to get blasted away by it.

Tip 6: Strafe
Strafing is when you walk around your target as you hit them. It makes it harder for them to hit you.
Tip 7: Bow Spam
When you use your bow, the second you can use it again, attack with it then shoot it again. This saves time when firing arrows.
