TP Trapping should have consequences

I personally don't think it should be against any rules. I think players should learn to avoid those traps, or just be more careful and not bring their gear with them. Rather then always asking staff to punish one person for killing them in game, they would just learn to avoid it in the future. I personally think it just adds a little touch of danger and "Freedom" as you might say to the player experience. Sure it might make someone really angry that they lost their gear, but it's just a game, and they should just learn to not fall for those traps and help other people not fall for the same traps too.
If tp trapping was bannable can you imagine how many reports there would be? TONS. Staff would be on banning people all day long. Then staff would have to check if it was a trap or just trying to get someone banned. It would take tons of time and it would be very very hard to prove without video evidence. It just simply won’t work to be punishable

Ok so if anyone here plays hypixel skyblock then you know how the economy is nowadays. People scam with no consequences - even though it's allegedly against the rules - and they get tons of free stuff. Now imagine this: Replace "Hypixel Skyblock" with "Invadedlands Survival" and replace "Trade Scamming" With "Tp Scamming". It's the same situation. You grind for weeks to get good gear and someone just steals that from you in less than a minute. Now you can argue that "Oh YoU jUsT nEeD tO aVoId It!1!" and to that i say: Watch This. This is a video of when TheOriginalAce got scammed in hypixel skyblock. Notice how he brings up some points like how people show no support for the people scammed. In real life its "Oh damn thats unfortunate" but in minecraft it's "Oh damn you're pretty retarded yeah" See how that makes no sense? People are being exploited to the point where they lose everything. They lose months of work, because someone decided to scam them (or tp trap).

While yes I do mention Hypixel a lot that is because Tp trapping is very similar to Trade scamming, you promise something, then steal the other person's items. It works both ways.

So you are using the "In-game scamming" excuse for banning TP Trapping? Yep, unfortanely for you, in-game scamming is allowed. What isn't allowed is IRL scamming. (Promise a rank, get paid in-game items and then chargeback)

Another form of irl scamming is saying that you will pay in game currency and then when they buy irl item you don’t pay in game
lol everyone just stfu and read the 2nd line its all u need, its a form of ingame scamming which is already allowed. no one likes tptrapping just like no one likes being scammed, but we need to be careful about it and deal with it. just like someone else said above staff would get a lot of reports.
How much stuff are you tping with if you are losing weeks worth of stuff?
How are you tpaing with everything you own in your inventory? Are they emptying your /bal too?
Lose months of work? It's SO SO EASY to avoid being scammed on invaded. Likewise, how can you lose months of work in a tpa trap?
Overall my opinion is:
1) Who tpas to an event with good stuff anyway? If going to help someone quickly pv your good stuff before accepting the tpa it only takes a few seconds!
2) Chat is always full of spam anyway, the tpa trapping stuff is an immaterial amount of what gets spammed.
3) So are you going to start recording every time you accept a tpa? sounds like more effort than just putting your stuff away!
4) Never stopped me or anyone else I know who actively helps players, you make it sound as though people never accept tps
5) Scum and cowards? I do it to people who scam, am I a scum and a coward?
6)Easily, just the simple setting up recording software, rendering video, uploading to youtube and then having to report on the forums OH and dont forget having to constantly empty the recordings filling up your hdd because you record everytime to tpa somewhere.

My opinion on the matter: If you don't know someone or trust them PV your good stuff before tping, adding a rule for it is more likely to cause more arguments (especially if someone accidentally dies after tpaing to someone, what happens then?) Takes 5 seconds to pv stuff, takes a lot longer out of everyones day to add a rule and punish people for it.
