did you really need to make a thread about this? I speedran SSG 1.9+ when there was only one seed, now there are dozens of much much better seeds in recent versions of minecraft, it's obvious that I'd slide down, if I was to speedrun now on a new seed I'd probably get 5 minutes or something like that instead of the 14 minutes. Really didn't need to make a thread

I used to, I was bored and I did a ssg speedrun 1.9+
I just watched the SSG 1.9+ wr and that was actually so fast oml
Anyone with that seed can easily make sub 7 lmao
yeah, newest seeds are basically how fast you can run to the stronghold
I just tried the WR seed like 40 times and not a single time did I get enough obsidian to go to the nether
I just wasted an hour of my life ahahahahahhhhhahhhahahahahahahahahahah
Edit: THERE WERE 3 BLACKSMITHS IN THE SEED AND I ONLY CHECKED ONE BECAUSE I DIDN’T KNOW THERE WERE 3 THIS WHOLE TIME WTF IM SO DONE IM NEVER TOUCHING SPEEDRUNNING EVER AGAIN

Another hour of my life gone, only went to the nether about 3 times, and only one time did I actually get enough obsidian to leave the nether, and then I realised I forgot to bring a hay bale :/
