Hello there,
I've had a lot of people asking me how they can get started on KitPvP, and how to go even further. Therefore, I'm making my own version of a Beginner's Guide to help those out in need. Stage 1
So you just joined InvadedLands and decided you want to go onto KitPvP. You drop down into the PVP zone and within a matter of seconds, you're already dead. You quickly realise that you won't stand a chance against the rest of the players who are already ahead of the game. But you can do the same.
» First of all, you want to use /kit pvp to access a free kit with a 20 second cool down. Below will display what kit pvp gives you!

For some
extra information, the iron set has Protection II, Unbreaking I, and the Iron Sword has Sharpness I. With this small advantage from having completely nothing is great. Now once you've gotten Kit PvP, drop down and try to focus on finding loot on the floor specifically diamond armour, golden apples, potions, and bows. Below there will be listed advantages of these items on the floor you may find.
» Power II, Punch II bow. This is a great one if you find it and shoot it very lightly you can boost yourself quite far and escape from any hostility. Also, you'll be able to fling your enemies back quite far and definitely comes in handy when defending.
» Ranked Kits; these will substantially help you when fighting others. Often ranked kits such as MVP, Pro, and Lord already come equipped with Power II, Punch II bows and you just might find one. I recommend once you have these times store them in your
/pv 1 or your enderchest at spawn.
Stage 2
So you've done the first stage. Now that you know about this lovely /pv access you can start using it for your benefit. Make sure you store all your goods in there so you don't lose them. Please make sure you keep everything nice and organised.

The organization of your player vault is essential to making sure that you have everything accounted for. Put your bows in one area, swords in another, potions to the right side.
Once your player vault is nice and shiny, we can move on to try and get some bigger ticket items. Right off the bat, you've got a free kit that you can use every day! The command would be
/kit daily, below is what you get.
» Diamond Sword; Sharpness I
» Power I, Punch I Bow
» Protection I Diamond Armour Set
» 15 Golden Apples
» 1 Notch Apple
» 1 Splash Potion of Poison
» 1 Potion of Swiftness
Stage 3
You're now on the third stage, congratulations. Let's talk about how to try to upgrade yourself. Using
/vote you can try to win some kits, some money, and if you're lucky a rank. All of these have their own benefits. Let's talk about kits. If you win the armour, you'll be given two sets of OP armour to PVP with. This will greatly help you. If you win the money, you can use it towards using it at
/warp shop or buying things off of
/ah.
I recommend not doing any trades where it involves you having to drop an item, use
/trade if necessary. At
/warp shop you can buy enchantments for your items. Use this as it will help you a lot in the PVP zone! Naturally, after getting kills you will rack up money and that money is yours to spend!
Note: /vote has a 24hr cooldown and you will have to wait for it again. Not only that but
/kit daily has a 24hr cooldown. If you rack up kit dailies you can try to sell them off or use them later on in the future. Another option is saving up money and trying to buy rank kits off of someone else.
Additional: You will notice that there are events that every so often pop up. If you are able to win one of these events you will be given an event key. This is a step up from the vote key, so from this you will be able to get more items from this! Credits to -

Stage 4
After you've applied all these steps, you are now onto the final stage. Using what kits, and items you've gained try to kill members with god armour. Usually, they will be ranked players looking to kill an iron player. If necessary ask someone to come and help kill the player with. Then, you'll be able to use his/her armour for future use.
After a while of killing ranked players, you'll have yourself a nice stash of items and kits to start mass killing iron players and racking up those kills and earning money. Within time you'll rise up the levels, and you might want to invest in buying a rank at
/buy in-game.
