Hi everyone! I have decided that it is time for me to move on from invaded. There is no drama or issues (with my resignation at least) so if that is what you expected sorry to disappoint lmao. The reason for this is simply that I don't have the time to staff anymore and the passion I had for doing this has died off as you guys can probably tell from my activity. This isn't a spur of the moment decision, I have been thinking about leaving since before the mega situation but decided to stay to try and help the server when it was down bad, again I stayed after the affixes situation to make sure the server still had some staff to do reports etc and help out the new trainees. But now I don't have the time to staff here anymore. Also im 19 so im getting a bit old to moderate a youtubers block game server in my opinion so yeah.
I began playing invaded around 2016/17 and at that time I had no idea what it would become and that I would continue to play for almost 5 years and meet some close friends on here but I am super happy to have stuck it out. In summer 2018 I began my first spell as staff as a factions moderator but after that server quickly died I was allowed to continue my trial stage on the whole server. At that time Luke was also a Trainee and he helped me with my first mutes on here. A few months later I was demoted for inactivity lmao. On july 24th 2019 my app was accepted again and I re-joined the team until now and all that I have to say is that it was a great 2 years spent with some really good people, some less good but mainly everyone was fantastic. It's tough to try and keep all of you guys happy but I can say that during my time here I did try my best make this server a better place.
I wanna say a thank you to all staff past and present for making this period so fun and enjoyable and also a massive thank you to you guys, the community for making this role so fun in the first place. (also quick note to skyblock players I tried so many times to get features added and I have multiple google docs full of ideas for it, sorry they wont be added now lol)
I do still love this server and want to see it get back on its feet and grow bigger than it has ever been, but I just dont want to be a part of that process anymore with the current direction of the server. I likely wont be on much in game after this but if you do see me feel free to say hi!
