The 24-hour cooldown is based on IP, not username. (edit: nvm I'm dumb)

However, I do believe that you most likely made a typo in your username - whether it be forgetting a capital letter or simply typing the wrong letter by mistake. Always be sure to double check before confirming your vote to ensure this doesn't happen.
