I've been on the discord a lot and you are always gonna have those impersonating skeppys and advertising here and there. Although recently I've noticed there have been a lot more people spamming and breaking multiple rules and the automod cant recognise as a rule being broken. This is why I suggest we have discord moderators so people don't ping the minecraft moderators and (almost) no one will be complaining about spam and such and ping the minecraft mods 27 times. Think you for reading and I hope this goes into consideration.

+1. It will also give an opportunity to the people with discord and chat moderation experience to moderate Discord. Also, Discord-only mods will have to concentrate themselves mainly on discord, helping moderate chat and take weight off of current staff's shoulders.
I was thinking it would be different from minecraft mods because discord mods would be only on discord, or maybe moderate Minecraft chat too but I am thinking they would be separate from Minecraft mods

I agree, and currently, this problem was so serious that in less than 20 minutes, I've witnessed DM advertising (which I've attempted to report to a mod through DMs and I haven't received a reply or action), mass paragraph spam, which due to the 15 second slowmode, Dyno's automod cannot detect, and an instance of a person using racist profanity in a joking manner who even DMed me to say that my opinion was wrong (that person was muted in the end).
My theory is that current moderators are too focused on moderating the main server (for good or for bad) to pay sufficient attention to the Discord, which is not enough to even fulfill basic moderation needs, and let's not mention stuff like Discord events, proper suggestion channels, custom Discord bots et cetera. that can be used to rejuvenate the Discord server.
Therefore, we need proper, dedicated Discord moderators to moderate and bring back the Discord server.

Yes, it did, and let me be honest, I joined this server only recently after a joke was made in another server about this one, and I was quite surprised at just how terrible a state this Discord server is in.
I made a joke about DDoSing a local IP (not a server local IP, just a normal local IP) and I was blacklisted, while other people were not (including another toxic person) until I reported some of them the next day, and those were the Apex times. I'd love to see what would've happened trying to report them today

Well, I think Discord mods that at least keep the server in reasonable shape, even if the server doesn't get improved, at least they can act on rule violations such as DM advertisers, racists, spammers, etc are better than having no mods at all.
