Hi all,
Just wanted to address why this thread hasn't been straight-up deleted and simply locked instead.
This thread will stay up because it displays just how kind this community can be when it comes together and I don't want to take away from others' kindness. It was heartwarming to see the community come together to support the author of this thread, even though it turned out he absolutely didn't deserve it.
It's estimated that in 2017 alone, 9 million people died from various forms of cancer* - this awful disease touches so many lives and many people that use this forum will know somebody that has had cancer or that has died from it. I encourage you to use this awful situation to raise awareness and to support cancer charities that have had less access to funding as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
I hope the author of this post never has to live through the pain of watching a family member die to cancer, let alone having to live with it themselves.
For those of you randomly finding this thread months later, it's not true.
