What counts as spam

I just got muted like 10 Hours ago and now I have muted again. :/ What counts as spam? The only thing I've done today that would classify as spam is copy and paste a funny youtube video 3 times in chat. Mods please explain. Also, why do the Mods always mute you like 1 hour later? This causes confusion as the person being muted does not know what they did wrong. Anyways what counts as spam, please help me. Thank you mods/otherpeople.
P.S I am not criticizing the Mods, Sorry mods if it seems that way. Just really confused <3 you all

Before you listen to mr sarcastic over there i'd just like to point they is a rule page you can to to find this out for yourself however i'd like to add my own input so you can understand it easier too, for example spam is Using excessive capital letters repeating of the same word/sentence before the chat has even had time to themselves and lastly trying to encourage spam is a big No.

If you do apply what i've said in the future you will very unlikely to be muted again hope i helped thanks

Spam is three or more duplicate messages within either a 10 second span or within a 180px chatbox, depending on how busy chat is at the time of the offense. If you are muted later on after your offense, it is because you were muted from a report.
