So I've sweated KitPVP and survival but I haven't actually done anything on skyblock

If I do start playing what do you do and how do u get money etc

Also is there some skyblock community I can join 0.0
 
personally, there are two main goals in skyblock: island levels and money.
depending on your rank i'd just start off with visiting profit shops and participating in events; there are probably a few being hosted at this time in the season.

grinding chickens is basically the same as grinding cows on survival.
the eco is more slow though, it takes much longer to get 10mil in skyblock than it does in survival.
you can also invest in iron golems, i'm not sure of their value anymore but you can sell stacks of blocks at some player's buy and sell shops.

gold blocks from pigmen and just from buying in general are probably the most efficient way to get island levels.
unless you're skygod+ or have teammates who are i wouldn't recommend investing in zombie pigmen. /condense is worth it
gold is worth 150 island value, diamond 300 and iron, lapis and redstone are all worth 10.

chicken spawners are actually very efficient as long as you have a lot of them and have a good grinding sword, they are the best way to get money when you start out as they are very cheap.
 
i would start with egg profit and chicken spawners, then move on to zps or igs, or if u don't want to, some people have great public zp grinders that a lot of people don't know about

or u could try to find an is to join but idk about that one
