players can sell items to players by using /trade, they could have sold it on ah but u didnt notice, they could have /sell a'd all the items that /sell works on, or they just lied to u and they have it stored

for the future btw, u can do /wild or /rtp to automatically teleport to the wild without a cooldown when u type the command. So if you ever notice you are about to die in a tp trap, u can do /rtp to tp away

^^if falling though and you /wild or /rtp you’ll die of fall damage (if you fell enough blocks)
