Why do I find armor and weapons on the ground on kitpvp?

Title says it all.

Everytime I log onto kitpvp, I can always see someone invisible throwing items onto the ground and sometimes I can pick them up, other times, I can't. I want to know why is there someone invisible throwing items onto the ground. Genuinely curious.

This is because players are invisible in the middle of spawn. If you can't pick it up, that's just because another player that you can't see already picked it up.
