People would often use clients over regular mc with mods mainly because its much more efficient and supposedly a better anticheat and cosmetics I guess.

if you were upgrading i would have waited but if you were making an entire pc from scratch fair enough.
another reason for lunar (idk ab badlion) you can add friends and message them using the client so if you're muted, ez bypass 
People use them to prove they don’t cheat often. Also they run smoother for most people and look nicer than regular Minecraft. Instead of having to download 20 mods it’s nice to have it all in one. I would highly recommend Lunar client for anyone looking for a good client. ??
