I understand that the mods don’t exactly have the power to do these things, but the fact that some of them get demoted just for suggesting this stuff proves how corrupt the system is.
If I get blacklisted or forum banned for suggesting things, I’d just like to let you know that it’s not healthy to be on this server. (I’ve taken a screenshot of the thread, so if it gets deleted after I get banned, I’ll have evidence for what happened.)
Starting off, listen to the players’ suggestions. I know that some of them are obviously not good ideas, but for the ones that seem to get tons of +1s, consider implementing them.
Secondly, add more updates. A reset once every 6 months is NOT good enough. The gameplay gets old, players quit, and eventually the cycle of quitting and joining gets broken, as seen by the immense amount of players quitting.
Thirdly, don’t blacklist people for their opinions. For fucks sake, if I see one more person get blacklisted because they’re upset about a player getting banned, I’m actually going to cry. These are just players’ opinions, and they’re not breaking the rules.
Fourth, read appeals faster. I was lucky enough to have all of my appeals responded to in a short period of time (which I’m thankful for), but some appeals haven’t been responded too even though it’s been weeks to months. Make a dedicated appeals team, and set a minimum requirement for appeals considered per week.
