Why is everybody saying the staff are 'corrput'?

I'm just a little confused why people say the staff are corrupt? I mean yeah Zelk, Skeppy and others can troll at times but that's essentially their job. Or if staff are a little blunt and sometimes unhelpful people say they are rude.
Now being a new member n' all I may not ave seen instances of staff being 'corrupt'. But I mean give them a break, they must have to deal with a lot and can be rude at times.
All that said if anybody can explain why people say staff are 'corrupt', I'd be happy to hear it. :)

It is not their job to troll people on the server lol. Their jobs are to manage the server, and they aren't doing very well from my point of view; I lost multiple god sets from Zelkam's events, and after requesting for my items back on January 26, Zelkam replied to my post last Sunday with a simple, "Nothing can be done about that". I mean he took almost a month to reply to a thread, and he didn't give my stuff back. On the other hand, staff like Hamoka and Wqlk do their jobs and actually moderate the server, while people like skeppy do events and make people get banned and lose their stuff. Just my opinion.

Poor wording on my part, but with the job part I mean trolling players in Invaded is their main content, which gives them their income. But I must agree that staff should perhaps be more cautions with their events. Placing echests before events could work. And remember when banning randoms it is their responsibility to unban them or go through forums and find more appeals as falsely banned players appealed. But I wouldn't call them corrupt still, possibility just a act before think.
 
The community is built on trolling. If you don't like it, don't join the events, it's that simple. The staff do their job, they help moderate the server while keeping it fun for everyone.
 
they are basing this off of slow ban appeals and blacklist appeals, which take long because the amount of things the staff have to deal with. Also staff can be slow to respond to dms and other things but idk idk
 
The staff are corrrupt because they get paid to ban players, for example they got paid to blacklist a good friend of mine and ban his forum account. (fastestclickereu btw). they also don't do theyr jobs and lock threads for no reason. If you can't handle losses you have bigger issues than "moderating" a minecraft forum and server. more of the corruption on my upcoming exposing thread (coming in the following days!).

the entire network is also a big pyramid scheme which lives off skeppy's "content" (faked videos)

Just go to the "Invaded lands owes us 2000$" thread right here (https://invadedlands.net/threads/invadedlands-owes-us-2000-paypal.1902/) besides cases like that there are also a lot of false bans since the anti cheat is so strict. Second of all many of these trolls have caused damage to the players for example /tpall causes a player in combat to lose all of there stuff. And what did they do? All they did pretty much was say "oops nothing we can do about that lol" this is mainly directed to Zelk and Skeppy. Third of all in many cases since there just isn't enough staff to check logs many players are forced to appeal for a reduced ban when they didn't even do something wrong. Finally referring to the "Invaded Lands owes us 200$" in many cases like these staff just ignore it.

Fastestclickereu did nothing wrong. He was the only positive shining light in this community, like I am right now.

I was at spawn pvping not in his event and he they cleared inventories and i lost everything.
 
Ah, thank you to most for your answers. I myself wouldn't call it corrupt. As the staff don't do that say, everyday (harmful trolls at least). But I have to agree with the lack of thought put into some of the staffs actions. While most of the bans are legit some are false, (which you can appeal for), none the less the actions the staff do falls on them. Such as more ban appeals, spam on 'corrupt staff', ect. I think the staff either need to think before their actions or at least warn the players. (Eg: Gonna clear ur inv in 1min). But in the mean time I guess we just have to accept it. :/ Hopefully in the future all will be fixed.
