why is mod apps closed?

the mod apps are closed idk why plz help I wanna know I give u permission to lock this if u give me a valid answer

They are locked until next season. Next season has no ETA. when opened, it will be announced on the forums and on the discord! @Nicki @hamoka lock

They open every 6 moths, to avoid flood of apps. This allows newer players to gain knowledge about the server before applying, and their system of hiring new staff member works well like that
