Why is this server pay to win

I think Invaded should be like Hypixel where nothing is pay to win, except for cosmetics so scenario, you can get the rank overlord once you reach 5000 invaded kills or something, and like the money stuff is like to access the /party command

The server isn’t pay to win. It’s not hard to go from bad look to good loot and eventually do an irl deal and get stacked. If you know what ur doing and ur good at pvp you can become very stacked without spending money. Also, if they made it so you couldn’t buy ingame items for kit pvp they would lose out on a lot of money which is why they won’t do this.

its not hard to get a few p4 sets while pvping its just easier to pay to get a ful dura set not really p2w

I mean there is also the aspect that the staff do get paid, (probably the same with Hypixel but they almost have 100k averaging playerbase but that’s not the point) people may not buy ranks anymore or as much and there’s also the idea that the server funding fees would probably be quite high.

Skeppy's brought a huge playerbase from his old trolling videos from 2015, and now the server gets around 300-400 players daily. A lot of these players brought ranks from the early start, and some only now. It's simply just for the money, and it helps pay staff's paycheck and other server stuff, just like Hypixel.

I think the server is financially... scummy. I'm not calling Skeppy a scum, nothing like that, but he has certain ways of getting around the p2w aspect.

In his videos, he refers to buying ranks as 'Donating' (the best example of this is

), which is a common trope of getting around server investigations.

The server also has player drops (for lack of a better word), meaning that when a player is killed they drop their current items. So, if you were good at pvp and fought some kid (who couldn't pvp) in overlord gear, you would get that overlord gear. It's difficult but theoretically plausible.

Than, finally, no ranks can win events and get keys, use the vote crate, do irl deals, etc.

So I guess what i'm trying to say is the server is p2w (and the mods, at least Skeppy) know this and are working around it. The server isn't breaking any rules on paper, but it's clear what's going on.

on my default alt did this to get a rank, go in iron and farm a ton of irons for money and kill diamonds that r bad and get there loot then sell it then with that money buy a s3 and a punch 2 then go kit daily kit default p1 s3 punch 2, 2 gods and with that setup u can basically kill any diamonds. Just repeat that every day till ur stacked enough to get vip.

Its true that better kits are more powerful and a little bit unfair but this isn't hypixel, if you have brain good enough to think you could get to really high ranks without paying, just like me i was every rank below lord, play,get money,get op stuff,ask in chat or on forum or anything for rankupgrade, and one by one. every time its harder but worth. Just dont get scammed xd

Those default's are probably alts from lord+ kids
