sorry if this is a stupid question but the title says it all (btw im not talking about a vpn ik those can get you banned Im talking about full-on changing your ip)

probably not, as if it is the same account but from a different IP address, you will probably not get banned. however i would recommend letting management/a mod know or capturing evidence so you dont get false banned.

You're allowed to change your actual ip, you won't get punished for it, because most of the time people change their ip for security reasons. It's only the use of VPNs that are not allowed.
 
No you wont be banned from that, i moved out recently and i m not banned so, feel free buddy
 
I dont think you can get banned for that
I used another PC in different location (only once) and I didnt get banned

No. That's stupid. Ive played from like 3 different ip adresses in the past few weeks (Europe, Scandinavia, and the States) and I'm perfectly fine. Even got a screenie with Bruva! If I was in trouble, I would've certainly been punished by now.

A new router doesn't give you a new IP and I'm not sure how you're going to simply change it in your settings unless ISPs work a bit differently in your country you live in comparison to mine.

Many peoples IPs change regularly without them knowing, I know at one point here in the UK getting a static IP was only for businesses and wasn't cheap, it's only over the past few years I've found my home IP to not change very often (which I presume is due to the fact we'll eventually run out of IPv4 addresses)

Informing staff you're changing IP is pointless, unless you're somehow going to be using the same one as a banned player.

Yeah, I used to have Virgin Media and my IP changed every month.
 
People change IP addresses more than you think. No its not punishable. Only if you use it to log back onto the server because of being banned it is punishable using a new IP.
