Carding has been a thing since people realized they could use stolen credit cards to pay to win at no cost to themselves.

Is it profitable for the server?

Are staff not worried about it being a problem?

Is it hurting the playerbase and causing newgens or old gen players to stop playing the game competitively?

Player with the IGN MASTEROFJEFF just bought approx. 700 keys at the time i made this post.

Staff can only do so much. There's not really a way to stop people from committing these acts and on top of that, if these people get caught when someone files a fraudulent purchase claim in Paypal, chances are that PayPal has the carders IP, etc, which can be handed to the authorities and actions can be taken from there.

Can't staff just remove PayPal from the shop?so u cant use it to buy stuff here
 
the only real idea which i've had is to put limits on certain items, such as keys, but keep ranks, titles etc the same since they mostly dont affect gameplay as you dont need alot of tags or ranks to be good / have fun, but things like keys do ruin gameplay since its way too op compared to mere ranks

P sure something is being done, it’s a known issue. I don’t really understand why people are committing crimes for Skeppy keys but yea

Staff knows about the issue but it is really hard to fix this as they can’t really do much about it

how can staff know if a card has been carded?
 
Invaded just needs to remove keys from paypal purchases. If you care that it'll hurt your profits then you will just lose income from the people who actually play the server. I also wouldn't doubt that 20% of the purchases you get are also fraudulent and end up getting cbed. Can literally look at the recent donations at any time of the day and see someone doing it...

You don't want to remove PayPal from the shop since its the easiest payment method. Simple solution would be to remove paypal as a payment option for the following items:

This would work because:

1.) It essentially stops the easiest carding method available through the use of stolen paypals (if you know nothing about this, stolen paypal logins cost around 0.30$ per login so you can easily get dozens for relatively cheap and anyone with a little bit of backround info can do it its not hard)

2.) If you care that it'll hurt your sales, add BTC/LTC/ETH payment methods to your shop. The people who will ACTUALLY buy these keys will be your ranked players who either already have crypto accounts or can make them easily. This is the best option because you cannot refund/chargeback crypto payments. It's also a safer payment method in general because it's anonymous.

Manager should reply with a reason why they can or cannot do this, thanks :D

Only issue is legally you have to be 18 to buy crypto whereas you can ask to borrow your parents paypal. not everyone's gonna want to buy crypto as it's a fluctuating market with no set value.

+ market doesn't matter, you put in the money from your bank/paypal, buy the crypto, and then buy from the shop, market price doesnt matter for these payments lol it only matters for someone whos buying crypto to hold/invest

Use your parents paypal*** not make your own with parents permission***** (like your parents buy it for you and you pay them with cash or something)

also fair point in regards to crypto
