Will staff do anything about carding?

I have a question. Do these purchases made on the hacked cards get chargebacked?

Because if they don't, I can't see why Invaded would do anything about it. They're still making money, screw where it's coming from. And I don't think there is much the server administration can do about it on their own without PayPal assistance.

Also, how fucking funny is it that these people legit have access to real life money they could spend on almost anything online, and they choose to spend it on Invaded keys LOL. Legit risking their lives doing illegal shit for keys on a minecraft server xd

When the person that got carded finds out there PayPal was stolen they end up charging back the payment. It’s quite sad that people are making the decision to commit a crime for a bit of an advantage in a game for kids…

If u read my messages before i said nothing is being done to the individuals carding, and they can’t do anything either, so like i said make keys not purchasable with paypal is the only option.

Invaded is doing all the can atm. Not even sure if PayPal can be removed from only keys but I doubt it. Even if it is possible to remove paypal from buying keys carders can still purchase everything else on the store. -1

Yes I do agree to this and it is an important way of payment. There really isn't a way of stopping this considering they need to keep paypal as a payment option.

If I was earning money from Invaded, I wouldn't stop it. At the end of the day, it's earning Invaded more money.

It was being monitored whilst I was staff, not sure if it's more of an issue now as I don't visit the forums often nor do I log into minecraft much now, we knew who was involved whether it be doing the carding or benefitting from it.

If people wanna potentially throw their life away for a minecraft server then let them. Who knows, one day they might touch grass.

An overload of keys on the server is what breaking the economy, let them buy useless ranks its not gonna have the same impact. i doubt they'd even put in the effort for that.

I agree with what you said, however carding for ranks is still illegal and the whole problem needs to be fixed as a whole.

Carding has been a thing since people realized they could use stolen credit cards to pay to win at no cost to themselves.

Is it hurting the playerbase and causing newgens or old gen players to stop playing the game competitively?

Player with the IGN MASTEROFJEFF just bought approx. 700 keys at the time i made this post.

No, it's not. The owners of said hacked PayPal accounts will rightfully file chargeback claims, and the server gets none of the money.

Yes, we are, it's the main concern at the minute in certain respects.

Most of us don't make money staffing here, and as I said before, the server doesn't profit from this at all.

We are dealing with this issue, and constantly looking into solutions. People caught will be punished, and reported to PayPal. It's likely that after the report is received by PayPal, they will take legal action against people using their platform to commit fraud. At this point, I would love to see PayPal removed from the store altogether, however that is not my choice. We are doing as much as we can right now.
