Wrong efficiency on Diamond pickaxe bought in /ah?

Dear staff,

xxxchilingxxx bought a diamond pickaxe with efficiency IX on it but some how he gets efficiency IV on it. Look at the picture's for the proof.

can he have the efficiency IX on it?

I think it must just be a visual glitch and it never actually was an efficiency 9 pickaxe because I don't even think there is a way to get that from a crate or somewhere else. The name also said "eff 4" so everyone was probably aware that it's efficiency 4. But if it actually was another level of efficiency you can make a bug report here.

Oh my god that happened to me too! I don't know why it happened to us but i hope we will get our efficiency on pickaxes back! -Bottlehead

I think what they did is used McMMO Super Breaker, which works by boosting the efficiency on the pick temporarily, and sold it in the AH while Super Breaker was active. It doesn't legitimately have eff IX and you shouldn't get that put back on the pick by an admin.

That being said, there needs to be some kind of check in place because there's no way to avoid the scam and you aren't meant to be able to drop or otherwise move an McMMO-boosted pickaxe normally, this is a bug in /ah sell.

i did that too first time i bought it eff 10 then it went to eff 5 after i enchanted it then i reported it to staff without proof so i bought another one thinking it was just because i tried using an anvil then it happened again
