I don't get why xraying is bannable because oh yeah go xray some diamonds and then what? There is no point
Xraying is only to be apart of a video from zelkam or skeppy and it grants no advantage because oh you can sell it for what a few dollars?

Spawner xraying I get is bannable but ores? No point just a waste of time because it isn't the aim of the game

Thoughts?
 
As much as there is not much dependency on ores to earn money you said it yourself in that it could be used for spawners. If somebody is using it for ores they will also use it for spawners.

It gives an unfair advantage, therefore why wouldn't it be banned?

Because every single video I've seen is a person xraying ores and the unfair advantage does nothing because... What advantage do they get

The unfair advantage is the ability to see ores that those without xray can't, whether it is a big or small advantage it is still one.

There's also the fact that if they can see ores with xray they can also see spawners

Its just unfair to xray. Imagine going somewhere to mine and then there are no ores in a 250 block radius or something cause they were all xrayed.

The point he's trying to make is that ores don't matter in survival as buying them in /shop is so much easier. I suppose that it would affect poorer players that don't have money for ores in /shop the most. But even making a cactus farm is a lot easier than mining.

It’s an unfair advantage that allows people to get more recourses, XP, cash, and spawners quicker and unfairly. Bannable. End of discussion.

im sure someone has said what im about to say, but in case, the reason xray is a offense (from MY knowledge) is 10 its cheating and cheating of any kind gives a unfair advantage to all the other players and the rules state that its a bannable offense, we must follow the rules. 20 yes, even though you can sell them for "a couple dollars" it still will mess up the economy because they are just xraying to diamonds and if they collect lets say 2 stacks of diamonds, thats a lot of money that there gonna get, then they can buy spawners and more and they didnt "work hard" to earn it.
