I think you should make a youtube channel, but make sure your videos are quality and not boring.

Do not make a YouTube channel with the only thought of you growing the channel quickly. They often take years to grow and gain attention, and you really need to be passionate and patient in order to see growth.
Do make the channel if you want to, don't ask what other people think; you know yourself better than anyone, if you want to do something, don't let other people tell you not to.
