Hi!

I just want to quickly say that while this type of thread has already been made about 12 times already, I wanted to add to the discussion about the reset whilist also suggesting some other features/things that need to be addressed on the Skyblock gamemode. Whilist I can appreciate the tremendous amount of growth the network overall and the Skyblock division of the server has seen since I began playing in Late 2018, I still believe there's many issues specifically with the Skyblock gamemode.

Obviously, Skyblock isn't the most popular gamemode on InvadedLands, so I understand why it's such a low priority on the to-do list having worked on Minecraft servers before, however the wait that has been endured by members for this reset is beginning to be too long and rediculous. I understand that every reset on Invaded tries to bring out a new map, as well as what should be major changes but mostly end up being minor changes. Every time Skyblock has been reset in the past, it has had little to no change.

I think the last change to this server I actually noticed is when they started to abbreviate island levels because the economy became extremely inflated due to Blaze spawners. What I'm trying to say is that it's clear there is a lack of care towards the Skyblock server, and at this point, I think most treat a server reset as a new feature in itself. At this rate, I think that the Skyblock server could very easily endure a reset with a previously used map for the gamemode, and no features changed, just so player's can start fresh again and that would honestly mean the world to them all.

Something I have suggested previously is a feature that is essentially survival WorldEdit where blocks from your inventory are used. This is not hard to implement at it's core as it is literally just one line in the config of WorldEdit. I think distributing it in game could be similar to KitPVP's warp creates items, where people will get 20 minutes to build with WorldEdit. It could be given on rank reclaim and could also be a rare crate perk. Obviously there are issues such as it being used for placing mineral blocks to instantly boost the island level instead of having to take time to place them by hand, but it could also benefit builders on Skyblock by adding it as a timed item and making it rare to receive.

I want to add that I completely understand why there hasn't been much attention paid to the Skyblock server, especially in Invaded's current state. Even before any of that, it still wasn't pulling the most players, so I fully understand why it's not priority, however I think the reset is (correct me if I'm wrong) 4 months overdue now? I'm trying to give options in this thread that require little to no effort from the Management/Development side, so they can still focus majority of their attention on more popular gamemodes whilist keeping the Skyblock playerbase happy.

What I think could work is if there was a mini-reset type thing, where the server get's refreshed with a new map, wiped players etc, and then the next season when Developers & Managers have more time and attention to pay to Skyblock, more features are added and certain things are addressed, such as the economy inflation issue I mentioned previously, the lack of things to do on the server apart from grind to get to /is top & /baltop while building random things.

Anything which you guys would like to add or ask questions about please reply :)
