What was a dumb misconception or mistake you had when you first started playing skyblock?

profit shops are only for being nice the sellers aren’t doing this for extra labor

uh not many it’s a very vanilla experience to be honest
But for real probably when i thought there was no shop and you had to mine for everything

I was going to give mum cow and island for himself higher up, I wanted to see if I could make a leesh and he would fly when I would, then I put him as slowly as I could back on the ground and he died. My island partner left ;-;

Erm the dumbest thing i did on Skyblock is buy a rank without even ever joining / owning an island And Bought the rank for the sake of it it was about a month ago

(I then acc started skyblock and really enjoyed it for a month then joined teams in survival and have not played it since)

What was a dumb misconception or mistake you had when you first started playing skyblock?

I had vote crates when I first joined, opened them and got 2 stacks of diamond blocks. I then decided to expand the tiny island, accidentally uncrouched and fell into the void with the blocks. I wish I knew about /is.

Another mistake was attempting a 1 by 1 water drop with no blocks underneath the water, I hit the edge and the stuff flowed down the water into the void

Haha im joking, no regrets. Everything that happened to me since i joined happend for a reason and im happy with every decision no matter what the consequences were, everything worked out for me. Only thing im sorry about when i rejoined was to meet all thos nice people and leave...
