Clan System Suggestion

Hello folks,
So recently I have been thinking of a very unique idea for InvadedLands. A clan system where you and a few of your friends could join the same clan to compete for clan top, This would work better then top kills for individual players. Instead of having paypal payouts for top kills we could have "clan top payouts" there would be many fun additions to this. The server would be way more competitive and fun for people who want to have a group of friends to team up! Clans are a very good way for players to start to bond more and get into the server a little bit more. I feel like this would bring a bunch of people back that had quit in the past, just because its a highly requested Idea that needs to be implemented into the network to make it a better place. The money would be distributed equally depending on the amount of clan members they have, The clan top would be calculated by the amount of kills each player has.

Clan Top Payouts
Clan top #1- $100 Paypal or $150 Buycraft
Clan top #2- $75 Paypal or $100 Buycraft
Clan top #3- $50 Paypal or $75 Buycraft

Clan Commands
-/clan create {name} - creates clan
-/clan invite {name} - invites specific person to clan
-/clan kick {name} - kicks person from clan
-/clan upgrade - Upgrades amount of clan slots, Upgradeable with money
-/clan disband - disbands clan
-/clan promote {name} - Promotes specific player to Captain then Co-Leader
-/clan leader {name} - Transfers clan ownership
-/clan leave - leaves current clan
-/clan info - {name} - lists clan Leaders and Members
-/clan join {name} - Accepts clan invite
-/clan help - lists clan commands
-/clan deny - rejects an invitation
-/clan top - shows list of top 10 clans
-/clanchat - toggles clan chat
-/clan ally {name} - allies clan
-/clan ally accept {name} - accepts ally
-/clan setname {name} - sets name for clan

Clan Upgrades + Slots
Each clan would start of with a maximum of 4 players at a time, each time you upgrade your clan it would gain 2 player slots.
Each time you upgrade the amount for the upgrade would increase by 10,000 so the first upgrade would be 10,000 the second upgrade would be 20,000 and so on, The max amount of people per clan would be 10. I was thinking of charging people a bit more to upgrade but I wasn't sure what would be an appropriate amount.


Permissions
When you purchase VIP rank or higher you would gain access to creating a clan so for example members would only be able to join clans not create clans. A lot more people would buy VIP rank or higher to gain access of this command therefore InvadedLands could use that currency for clan-top payouts.

i actually had that idea to! i really hope it will come true because it will help everyone and it will make life much easier for us! (pvp thogether,ect...)
 
This is a genuinely good suggestion that I would absolutely love to see be implemented. This could potentially bring back all the players who have recently left, and I can see some more ideas being added along with clans.

I like this concept, however there are a few things I would like to bring to this conversation.

As @hamoka mentioned, being a solo player and getting teamed up on is already one of the most common complaints I see. Adding a clan system would very likely make this even more of an issue and potentially drive players away who can not find a clan or enjoy playing solo. Perhaps this could be solved by adding some kind of duel feature, or maybe a warp where clans would be disabled?

I love the idea of limiting the amount of players you can have in a clan, and being able to upgrade this. However, 10k is a bit low of an amount. I think a good price would be starting at 50k and moving up in 50k increments, as @BabyKrypto suggested. Hamoka also mentioned the idea of these upgrades being winnable in crates, which could be a cool feature.

Having a bunch of official clans would certainly end up in rivalries. This isn't a bad thing in of itself, but KitPVP is especially known for having a rather toxic environment. I'd imagine there would constantly be fights between members of clans and it would add a whole new level of toxicity to the gamemode. On most servers clans would create friendly competition, but on invaded (especially when buycraft rewards are involved) I feel that it would create quite chaotic fights and drama. All I can think of is that maybe a stricter enforcement of chat rules could help with this?

Just a few things to think about. Overall, I really like this idea and think it would be a super cool feature to see at the next reset! +1

I was considering making the prices a bit more but I wasn’t sure and I was gonna remove the allies because that would genuinely be a bit to op but thank you for your feedback @Neptune888
 
Just a question @Wherry , if someone was going to make a clan, would they have a clan tag that displays in chat. I think it's a good idea tbh.
I’m not sure how that would work because everyone’s name would be long maybe there would be a suffix or something we would have to figure out something for that but I like the idea a lot @BabyKrypto

would be aids to play on if you dont have a clan, would constantly get ganked by 10 players.
