I like this concept, however there are a few things I would like to bring to this conversation.
As
@hamoka mentioned, being a solo player and getting teamed up on is already one of the most common complaints I see. Adding a clan system would very likely make this even
more of an issue and potentially drive players away who can not find a clan or enjoy playing solo. Perhaps this could be solved by adding some kind of duel feature, or maybe a warp where clans would be disabled?
I love the idea of limiting the amount of players you can have in a clan, and being able to upgrade this. However, 10k is a bit low of an amount. I think a good price would be starting at 50k and moving up in 50k increments, as
@BabyKrypto suggested. Hamoka also mentioned the idea of these upgrades being winnable in crates, which could be a cool feature.
Having a bunch of official clans would certainly end up in rivalries. This isn't a bad thing in of itself, but KitPVP is especially known for having a rather toxic environment. I'd imagine there would constantly be fights between members of clans and it would add a whole new level of toxicity to the gamemode. On most servers clans would create friendly competition, but on invaded (especially when buycraft rewards are involved) I feel that it would create quite chaotic fights and drama. All I can think of is that maybe a stricter enforcement of chat rules could help with this?
Just a few things to think about. Overall, I really like this idea and think it would be a super cool feature to see at the next reset! +1
