Yes but they shouldn't be allowed to skip stages like that, even if they are trusted it just isn't fair, imagine you are a mod and you have been working for a year and doing your job really well and then suddenly this random person comes along and takes your position
If that person is more qualified than me, do his good job correctly, and if the upper staff knows him and trusts him, it don't really see why it should bother me. Besides, you are not part of the staff, and I think if actual staff members have problems with it they will be able to talk over it. Why is that so important for you ?

you do know talking on the forums isnt a requirement to be a staff member. sure it helps but it isn't even necessary. besides, they have 16 messages and we cant see any of them, meaning they have either reported people OR have responded to ban appeals or whatever staff handle.

And it's not cheating the system, there is no "system", people are chosen to be staff/promoted depending on their qualifications and on how good they are at doing their job and dealing with ther rank responsibilities. They would not put a random senior mod if he was not worthy, so stop questionning it
You guys clearly want a random person (who no one knows who they are, we dont even know if they are a friend of a staff or something, they haven't given us any clarification whatsoever, but that is invaded for you) to be mod so im just not gonna carry on
Maybe he got good experience as staff and is already well known by the manager. It was still mentioned everyone had to be a trainee before mod so idk
