Project UGH, or project Under Ground Highway is an idea i have for the next season, this idea will be a underground highway system that will go across, almost all, or most of the map. There will be many routes, but we need you. We need a lot of workers for this project to work, we also need donations large to small. Also if you choose to be a worker you will be paid, you will also be promoted, if you work hard.

Jobs:
Mine Trainee: Pay:25K, workers that are miners in training, hollow out area to put rails
Miner: pay:50k, You hollow out area for rails( unable to make decisions)
General miner: pay:110k you hollow out area, able to fire any mine worker (with reasonable reason)
route expert: pay: 115K you place railroads, decide what directions the rails should go, decide what places they should lead to, decide if the mine should go father up or down
Bomb/tnt expert: pay: 70k you place tnt in areas we feel most be hollowed with force.
Craftsmen: pay: 65k you are the one who creates the items that will be useful for the mine, such as (tnt, rails, ect)
Route manager: pay:350k make all route decision all routes and places, can fire anyone (on the route team, with great reason)
Mine Manager: pay:500k you have all the power of the mine, you can fire anyone (on the mine team, with great reason)
Bomb/tnt manager: pay: 210k, you are the one that choses where tnt should be placed, must be approved by the management team, you are also able to fire anyone( on the bomb/tnt team, with great reason)
Management team: pay: 1.2M, you have all power, you are able to fire anyone that isnt doing there job correctly, that includes managers.

getting fired: IF YOU ARE FIRED, you are done, we dont want to work with you anymore, managers can give you many chances if they feel. If you wait one week, and ask permission of anyone on the managment team to be rehired, you start off as a trainee.

Greifing: all greifers will be reported

Can I apply? This sounds like a great idea and it sounds very well thought out! I would like to be a miner since I tend to have a lot of time and mining is a great way to spend it. Its also a lower position so if I am busy or something its easier to not mine that day. I dont really know what to say so imma stop there. I would love to be part of this and hope that you consider me!

You know it cant be done right ? I m pretty sure you were inspired by the biggest Anarchy servers, but in there, BOTS are used mainly for these kinds of massive projects, and also, you cant claim the whole highway as it ll take you too many block that you will never be able to have, and the third thing is how are going to generate the money to pay the workers, and how sure are you that they arent going to grief ?, a simple grief of an hour can take days to a week to be fixed, or even cant be fixed if griefer claim the land, and without Elytras, no one will ever use the highways, Good idea but invadedlands survival isn't the right place for it buddy :(
 
I would love to apply, I'd like to be a miner as well, most of my time, I spend mining, I can put on music and mine until all my pickaxes break because I find it peaceful and a great way to spend my day when I'm not at work and I have time to spare, connecting all the areas sounds amazing, I have a huge plot that is very close to me also, so I'm willing to connect everything, lets make a interconnected system of rails, so excited to work on it!!!!

True but tbh it sounds like a fun idea and a good way to waste time when bored and for people without /fly it might be cool to use that as a way for travel.

okay great, but everything your saying can be fixed quite simply, everybody that works there will claim small sections of the railroad, also i accidently forgot the part where theres a worker called, greif support team, they will monitor the mines constantly,they will also fix the greifed areas, also we also will work very hard to make the money to pay, also we will be talking donations from the community.the highways wont be for elytras they will be for railroads. All grefers caught will be reported. Good questions but they are all thing we thought about before we thought about this. If this project fails it fails and we try again.

I mean you could try it but even people without fly cant use it, imagine walking for tens of thousands of blocks, let s assume it s straight highway, let s assume speed is 5 blocks a second in average ( I did a try and maths ), it will take them to move from the center of the map nearly 3 hours, i honestly don't see a use for this project, and btw, *y, with good pickaxes, it will take you around 434.02 days to finish a 5*5*5 highway that is going around the whole corners and the center, if everyone has good pickaxes ofc

or atleast the average, because i made a highway by myself that went very far that took less than a week

let s assume that 10 people will mine constantly ( i m 1000% sure the number will be way less, because people get tired, and people sleep, it will take you 43 days and nights, which if we calculate the things that people have to do IRL, and the average hours a person plays a day, and also the fact that they wont be mining the whole time in game but doing things else, it will take you way over 6 months for it to be done, which i remind you , the period that s needed for survival to reset, so even if you go full try hard mode, people will be able to use it only for few days, i m just trying to save your time, the idea is great, but it s for an anarchy server where you can operate huge numbers of bots
