Hey, I'm putting together a pc part picker for when I order pc parts in a couple weeks.. I'm not too good with pc parts so wondering what GPU you all recommend?

I don't want anything overkill but something good enough to stream Rainbow 6 and MC.

how much is your budget, what are your other specs
I have around 1300-1400 ish to spend.. I don't wanna spend too much as there are other things I'd like to buy + some will be put into a savings account I'll open when I turn 16..

Other specs:

CPI: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
Ram: Kingston HyperX Fury (2 x 6 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16

If you need other stuff lemme know I'm happy to provide with more info <3

on a real note tho I think you should hold off buying GPU's rn the market is dog water right now but if you really want one go for an RTX 2060 super not to overkill and not too bad either possibly 2060 too but the original one is just trash i have an rtx 2080 super with an i9 9900k
I'll keep it in mind, thank you.

I've been saving money for like a year now, I only have just over £400 and my mum told me today that because I'd saved the money well and not spend any of it (which she didn't expect) that she'd give me access to the savings account I didn't know about.. there's apparently around 1600 in it.

Going to the building society to withdraw it and then deposit it into my bank

Wait for what? It'll be a couple weeks till I have access to the money as it's in a parental controlled savings account

Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing, the 3090 is literally the price of my budget lol
The market is really screwed right now. New generation of hardware is out of stock everywhere so prices have been scalped. Even if you aren't buying new gen hardware I recommend waiting until everything is available since old gen hardware will drop in price. A few months ago I would have said that if you were making a budget build with a 1660 super to go for it since the price wasn't scalped and new gen budget gpu's aren't coming for a while but even the 1660 super is out of stock :/. So just wait until new hardware is available because even if you aren't going to buy it at least older hardware will be cheaper.

Also if you don't mind me asking what resolution do you plan on playing at?

what type of power supply are you going to buy, but is that dependent on what your gpu is gonna be?

also, you should invest more into your cpu so you can have a better range of gpus to use combined with it

i mean if you really have patience get the rtx 3070 but im pretty sure it's gon be like a year or longer!

Remember you don't need the latest and greatest gpus. While newer generally = better, I've had a gtx 1050ti for like 2 years and it still runs great.

1050 ti doesnt hold up to streaming mc, and basically other games except low tier games

That depends on if they want to be a Twitch streamer then. Also newer games run jus fine and stream well?

Edit: wasn't suggestng the gpu, I was just using it as an example.

Same here, but it’s just the base 1050 lol. Although my 1050 still runs alright, I’m planning on upgrading soon since it’s kinda tough to run newer titles on high settings.

My recommendation would be to go with the gtx 1650, pretty solid gpu and can run most games fine. If you‘re going to be running more intense titles the 1070 or 1070 ti are also great (And also within budget)

So I've changed my CPU to a Ryzen 7 3800X and settled on a RTX 2060

PSU is 550 watts
