?dream
OH. okay ty. i saw dreams response but watched like 2 mins of it since i don’t understand mathdrem was the person who made the obviously fake speedrun + dream commented on it
i- this... this is so beyond that lmfao but i'll respond to this1. no one is sending death threats i don’t know where you saw that
2. dream doesn’t control his fan base. he can’t do anything. also 2% of his following are like that. he has 10m subscribers. 98% are chill
3. he actually does call out people if they’re being toxic...
4. they have to repeat what’s being said because you aren’t making a clear understanding of what they’re saying.
5. idek what happened with the Drem drama so i’m not gonna comment
6. he isn’t a manipulating liar. that’s a really harsh thing to say. he’s mastered the algorithm. that’s probably why you think he’s manipulating.
7. he admits and credits the reddit users he takes from. i don’t know what else you want from him
8. idk what happened with the mod team either so no comment
9. every youtuber takes something and clickbaits a little. but he didn’t clickbait. every video i’ve watched of his were not clickbait.
the only thing i agree with you on this is the fanbase. yes, there’s a good chunk that are just weird and obsessive, but also, you’re mixing those who aren’t crazy in with that obsessive side. that’s the problem with 90% of the gaming community. painting a whole fanbase as bad and determining someones personality because of a stereotype, which isn’t fair.
i did a social experiment where i wore dreams skin for 2 weeks. i counted how many times someone has targeted, bullied, or shit-talked me in public chat. 27 times.
do my homeworkkkkkkkkk!!!!i- this... this is so beyond that lmfao but i'll respond to this
1. There have been in fact multiple times when death threats were given to people Dream criticized. off of the top of my had Drem and the mod team however if I really did enough research I could probably count more.
2. I'VE ALREADY EXPLAINED THIS
3. two words: when, where?
4. dfihgfoij
I CAN"T YOU BASICALLY JUST SAID "no" to i've said without any reasoning, proof or evidence like wtf am I supposed to type
i gave you reasoning on everything please tell me what you need for me to clear up.i- this... this is so beyond that lmfao but i'll respond to this

"dream doesn't control his fan base" that just ignores all the reasoning I've given1. no one is sending death threats i don’t know where you saw that

"he isn't a manipulating liar" AGAIN fon edgonfd you basically just said no and that's not even why i said he's a manipulative lair...
you are really good at debating wow omg
This is true, however that was an accident and it was not smart of him, I think he's learned from his mistake so we can't really judge him on that.Yes, I would expect people would have enough common sense not send out death threads just because someone cheated in block game. However that is not that case. I'm not saying that Dream needs to be accountable for these people at all that is not my point at all. My point is that Dream should as a massive influencer and creator with a massive fanbase should take the fact that there are plenty braindead apes like that on the internet and I would expect that he should be able to consider that fact when he posts. I'm not defending those people at all but they sadly exist and will harass, dox and send death threats to someone for cheating on a block game and Dream as someone who has power over these people should treat that power more carefully.
True, I hope he's learned from his mistakes.I agree it is hard to tell what actions can lead the toxic part of your fanbase to a brigade against someone. However a lot of creators are able to consider their actions by taking into consideration the fact that they have power over these people. Dream however as a very new creator relatively speaking lacks that notion.
And I've replied explaining why they are indeed valid. You've also been repeating what's already been said. Moreover I will explain it again hopefully this time a bit better. Also you used "they're" as in plural however only two were ever bought into light and we agreed with the second one so... I will assume that was an error on your part and as such I will only explain the first case. Dream called out Drem in a seemingly innocent comment. That innocent comment sadly turned into the propelling force against Drem. Although I wont give all the blame to Dream since the comment itself as you have said just called Drem out and would have been acceptable if it weren't due to the fact that Dream is a large creator. But I think we can all agree that when you have a community that has large section full of toxic children that stan you, you should think more about what you post online when criticizing other people. But yes the toxic people that did all the bad stuff to Drem are in fact the ones that need to be held accountable.
Okay, so our common agreement is that the toxic stans that attacked Drem using Dream's comment are the worst scum and they're the ones to blame, right?Again this is not exactly Dream's fault which is also why I'm not only hating him. This is really the fault of the Dream SMP. I can tolerate stans and fans but sadly there is quite a large group within these communities who are really toxic and braindead.
Tbh I really don't know enough to be able to say with an even remote degree of certainty whether or not Dream actually has malicious intents, I don't really think so but I don't have enough proof so I'm going to drop this on the basis that I just don't know enough and even the people that are least expected to manipulate end up actually being manipulative.Which ties directly into my point. Dream is a very manipulative liar. To me it's just disappointing as to why so many people still trust him. But no those people that still believe in him wouldn't have cared if he cheated as they're the hardcore stans. Besides he said he's not going to do any speedrunning attempts anymore and uploading them to the leaderboards.
This is an issue generated by the stans however, but I do agree this issue existsthere are still a lot of people who give all the credit to Dream.
I believe he's condemned that behaviour before with the Drem case, and in other cases he may have wanted to avoid talking about those people to not cause people to think all stans are bad (when he made the video he very clearly repeated multiple times about not having an issue with stans, and clearly drawing the line between stans and toxic people sending death threats). However I do not know, but I doubt he had any ill intentions, so again I don't think he should be "attacked" (I say attacked for lack of a better term, I don't mean a full-on attack)No... that was not my intention I was just saying that he didn't make a response UNTIL he was pressured into making one. But personally I don't think responses condemning that type of behavior are effective at all.
The issue is that the normal stans that Dream has no issue with may feel targeted as well. People that have issues so big as to not understand that sending death threats is incredibly stupid are likely not going to change thanks to a hashtagYou're right it wont stop them. It is fun first of all I know this is immature but seeing #ripdream on twitter and a bunch of stans getting mad is funny. But it may even stop some of them and if even one can stop being braindead then I'll take that as a win.
I don't know why he did that, I tried to take a guess but again I don't know why he did what he did, but I doubt he had any ill intentions, it just doesn't seem likely. He is not excused. I've already said why and I'll say it again. Him acting the way he did to the mod team not only made his situation worse but really showed his true colors and egotistical he is.
He did start his career thanks to PewDiePie however I don't think this should be held against him, since he did work for the content and actually produce something worth watching. There's a difference from people who produce shit content and just clickbait the hell out of it like "FIDGET SPINNER AT 3 AM!!! CALLED THANOS (GONE WRONG) (COPS CALLED)" I am not putting him at that level at all. What I tried to say was that he got his career off of PewDiePie and I mean sure he isn't at that level but that level is rock bottom so it's not saying much.
I think the main issue with Dream may be that he's commented on Drem's video and replied to the accusation without thinking and forgetting about the braindead fans, I really don't think he actually had ill intentions or stopped to think about the consequences, and that was really stupid of him. However suggesting that he may have been aware of what could've happened seems a bit far fetchedI am not. As I've said as long as they don't attack people for no reason just because their overlord Dream says to and have some basic common sense, I have no problem. My problem arises from the fact that the a sizable section of his community is little children who fanboy and stan Dream who go and take direct orders from him. Dream then acts carelessly when criticizing other people and acts surprised when his fanbase harasses the guy.
No, I don't think this is truethey have to repeat what’s being said because you aren’t making a clear understanding of what they’re saying.
yes i amyou are really good at debating wow omg

no they need to give us pizzasAnyway, in conclusion, stan smaller Italian channels because they're much better and much more responsible and much closer to their fanbase which is also much more responsible (unless they're gaming channels, the gaming side of Italian YouTube doesn't exist shhh)

Alright it's good to see that we finally agree with something. However I will add that he hasn't learned from his mistake from Drem as shown in his original response to the mod team. This is true, however that was an accident and it was not smart of him, I think he's learned from his mistake so we can't really judge him on that.
True, I hope he's learned from his mistakes.

If the hashtag can get one person then it's a win but otherwise agreed.I believe he's condemned that behaviour before with the Drem case, and in other cases he may have wanted to avoid talking about those people to not cause people to think all stans are bad (when very clearly repeated multiple times about not he made the video hehaving an issue with stans, and clearly drawing the line between stans and toxic people sending death threats). I also don't think that he had ill intentions however it still shows a lack of character on his part.I don't know why he did that, I tried to take a guess but again I don't know why he did what he did, but I doubt he had any ill intentions, it just doesn't seem likely.
Agreed.I think the main issue with Dream may be that he's commented on Drem's video and replied to the accusation without thinking and forgetting about the braindead fans, I really don't think he actually had ill intentions or stopped to think about the consequences, and that was really stupid of him. I'm not holding the fact that he started his career off of PewDiePie against him. I'm saying that him calling the mods clout chasers when he clout chased PewDiePie is very immature. He did start his career thanks to PewDiePie however I don't think this should be held against him, since he did work for the content and actually produce something worth watching.
