I understand that this post is probably gonna get locked, despite it not breaking any of the rules. I just wanna give my opinion on the current situation of the survival reset and the seeming lack of care from management. I have told others to be patient about the reset, but I believe this has gone on too much.
I honestly believe that this is just uncalled for. Every reset has been around 6 months apart. It is usually about 6, maybe 7, but come on. 9 months is just too much. That's a season and a half. Management has not even acknowledged survival taking so long to reset, and it is really just ridiculous. I do understand that it could be hard to produce a good reset at the moment, and there could be many different reasons. I think the majority of players would understand the reset taking so long if it were clarified. I don't even consider myself a survival player, but I would definitely play some if there were fresh content. I really don't want to be rude, but it does not require any effort at all to simply make a statement addressing why survival is taking so long. The Skyblock Reset post, published in late February states, "information on Survival will be publicized soon so keep an eye out". That was about 2 and a half months ago. Survival may not be the largest playerbase, but it is still a playerbase nonetheless. No one likes this silence from management, and it is starting to feel like a lack of care from management. It does not apply just to survival, it applies to every server as well. Invaded has not been fulfilling a lot of the promises it has been making. Invaded has stated that they planned on adding features during seasons, but I don't recall times that has actually happened. Kit's reset post gave a list of stuff they were going to add during the season, yet none were added. Other reset posts have been vaguer, saying they were adding more features to keep it fresh, yet they still haven't added new features. All of the lack of updates to gamemodes, and now the lack of a reset is just building up to make it appear as management does not care. I am not saying management is lazy in any way, I feel invaded is a great server, but I really dislike the lack of knowledge we have received. I am not saying Invaded is dying, but the game modes are getting stale. Invaded needs to make resetting survival its priority. I'm sure they are busy with other stuff, like possibly new game modes or new features, but I believe they need to get their priorities straight. In combination with a seemingly inactive owner, a single dev, and managers who don't inform us on what is going on, it just doesn't seem like they are passionate about the server as the players. I am not a dev or anything, nor am I an expert in Minecraft servers, but the least they can do is explain why the reset is taking so long. If invaded had committed to their promises, and added new, refreshing content during the span of the season, along with resetting within the timeframe they estimate it takes, we probably wouldn't be in this position. It doesn't require coding knowledge or a massive amount of free time to just apologize for the lack of a reset and for the lack of updates, and give some explanation. I am not calling anyone lazy or bad at their job, I just feel management could do better at making the players more aware. If they can't reset yet, please, give us some knowledge of why. This is not at the fault of the mods or admins at all, the staff team is doing an amazing job. They are extremely active and passionate about the server, and it's very clear they enjoy it. I am sure that the managers are passionate about the server, but the lack of updates doesn't convince me of that. I really love this server, but I don't like how it feels like the server is being neglected by management. If you can't reset, please just address the lack of the reset. Please.
