Hey all! Long time no see
I figured it would be helpful to create a guide to the new Skyblock gamemode since it's so different from previous seasons! I hope this helps those who are new to this version of Skyblock
This is by no means a complete walkthrough, but it covers the basic information that you need to get started.
I have a better-formatted version on this google doc, but below is a version you can just read on the forums:
/is create: The first command you should do; it opens a GUI which allows you to select from eight different island presets. I personally recommend Premium Forest!
/is go: The command you use to get to your island; if you are visiting another player's island, you need to use this command instead of /is.
/is: When used while on your island, opens a GUI which allows you to configure various island settings as well as purchase buildings/upgrades.
/mr: The command you use to get to the mining realm (requires the building "Portal to the Mining Realm" to be placed on your island)
/sell: Opens a menu where you can sell the items in your inventory
/preferences: Opens a menu where you can customize your Skyblock preferences.
/rtp: When used in the mining realm, teleports you to a random location.
/pv <number>: Opens a vault with 54 item slots; ranked players get more vaults depending on how high of a rank they have.
/tpa <player>: Sends a teleport request to a player.
/tpahere <player>: Sends a request for a player to teleport to you.
/kits: Opens a GUI where you can collect a large selection of kits -- the most important being the "I Made A Mistake" kit, which gives you lava and water in case you messed up your cobblestone generator
Tokens: The primary currency, used to purchase a wide variety of blocks and items. Obtained via selling things, using the Token Generator, and opening crates.
Mob Coins: A rare currency, used to purchase mob spawners and custom enchantments. Obtained via killing Crazy Mobs, and opening crates.
Marketplace: An essential building which allows you to buy and sell items/blocks. You cannot sell enchanted gear.
Blacksmith: Used to buy, sell, and repair tools/weapons/armor, although you still cannot sell enchanted gear. I do not recommend purchasing this building early game, as the cost to repair your gear is extremely expensive.
Wizard’s Tower: An enchantment-focused building which allows you to upgrade enchantments on an item, combine custom enchantment books, and purchase a random custom enchantment for 25K tokens.
Archer Tower:
Attack-o-mat:
Crazy Castle:
Freeze Tower:
Lava Blaster:
Mage Tower:
Water Tower:
Angel Tower: Allows players within a certain radius to fly.
Command Center: Allows you to collect everything from your generators and ore mines at once.
Guardian Crystal: Heals your island guardian over time (which is currently useless due to warfare not being part of the game yet).
Holy Torch: Automatically kills all mobs within a certain radius; can be configured to enable/disable hostile and/or passive mobs.
Item Crypt: Essentially just a double chest that only the island owner can access. I personally don’t recommend purchasing this building nor do I see the use of it (if your island members are untrustworthy, why share an island with them?)
Solar Panel: Collects fuel during the day which can be distributed to a building of your choice.
Speed Tower: Gives Speed III to players within a certain radius.
Barn: Occasionally spawns animals of your choice (more options are unlocked as you level up the building). Note that it takes an extremely long time for animals to spawn, so if you are trying to grind for certain mob drops it is easier to just find them in the Mining Realm or buy a spawner at the Mob Coin Shop.
Block Grinder: Generates a selected block (more options are unlocked as you level up the building) for you to mine and collect.
Cobblestone Generator: Generates cobblestone, which is stored in the machine and can be collected at any time.
Dirt Generator: Generates dirt, which is stored in the machine and can be collected at any time.
Experience Tank: Allows players to store experience levels (the maximum when fully upgraded is 50 levels per tank).
Mining Realm Portal: Grants access to the Mining Realm, which can be reached using /miningrealm, ,/mrealm or /mr once the building has been placed. Alternatively, you can step on the building's pressure plate.
Mob Grinder: Instantly spawns mobs of your choice - the options available are zombies, skeletons, and blazes.
Ore Mine: Collects ores of your choice (more options are unlocked as you level up the building).
Token Generator: Generates tokens, which are stored in the machine and can be collected at any time.
Tree Farm: Spawns trees of any type (more options are unlocked as you level up the building).
Fuel Distributor: Fuels multiple other buildings, which can be selected in the GUI.
Item Pipe: Collects items from dirt/cobble generators and ore mines, which can then be sent to storage distributors.
Magnet Pipe: Picks up and stores items dropped on the ground.
Merge Pipe: Same as the Item Pipe, but can collect items from multiple buildings at once.
Sell Pipe: Automatically sell items collected from buildings.
Storage Distributor: A bunch of chests which store items collected by item pipes. Note that the hopper is purely decorative; if you throw items into it, you will not be able to get them back!
Each custom enchantment is part of a colour-coded category, which determines how many enchantments can be on any given item. The maximum amount per category, as well as a list of the enchantments in that category, is as follows:
Spawn: The starting point of Skyblock; in the central spawn area you can find crates, quest NPCs, the mob coin shop, and the traveling trader.
Battlegrounds: A PVP-centric area surrounding spawn where you can fight other Skyblock players.
The mining realm is where you will find a variety of things you need to further your gameplay. The most important part of the mining realm is “Crazy Mobs” — mobs that are faster, stronger, and more hostile than regular mobs. Upon killing a Crazy Mob, it has a chance to drop mob coins and/or a custom enchantment book. In the mining realm you can also find randomly generated structures as well as large ore veins of all types.
That's everything I believe is needed for now - I will edit this post & the google doc as we learn more about Skyblock and how everything works! Best of luck to all, and it's great to see you again <3

Note that this is not a full list of every command. It is just the ones that I believe are useful to new players./is create: The first command you should do; it opens a GUI which allows you to select from eight different island presets. I personally recommend Premium Forest!
